Whale Watching and Gulfoss and Geysir Express Tour from Reykjavik
Following your morning of whale watching, your day's activities continue with the Gullfoss and Geysir Express half-day tour, to see Iceland's best known historical sites and natural phenomena. The tour begins with a visit to Thingvellir, a geologically unique place where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. The Icelandic parliament Alpingi was established here in 930, and in 2004 Thingvellir was added to UNESCO's World Heritage List.
You will also see the majestic and beautiful waterfall Gullfoss, the incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. After a visit to the village of Hveragerdi, with its large greenhouses cultivating all manner of fruit, vegetables and flowers, the tour returns to the capital.

We enjoyed the trip very much. We got to see Minke whales and dolphins. The rest of the trip was enjoyable as we saw some spectacular Icelandic scenery. Would definitely recommend this trip.

The whale watching was brilliant and a must when you go to Iceland. There is never a guarantee of seeing them but we saw a whole family of Orca whales. A dream come true.
The Gulfoss and Geysir Tour was lovely too although I wish we had had more time at all the stops to take it in more. However, for a full day, could not have asked for a more enjoyable day!
