There is just not enough words to express how much I enjoyed this cooking class. I don't think anyone can top Chef Simone!!! She's funny, informative, patient, and a great people's person! I highly recommend you taking this class!!! 5 Stars, A
This tour was amazing! Simone was awesome and the food was delicious. Anyone considering this tour should do themselves a favor and book it immediately. Not only will you get to enjoy delicious local food, you also learn a lot about the history and culture of Rio. Simone has set the bar very high. I will always include a cooking class on every vacation.
This class was great!! The food was tasty, learning how to make the dishes was fun, and the chef was great! Chef Simone - awesome cook and a ton of fun to be with. She made the class enjoyable by setting a great tone. I think we had a bonus class since we learned how to make the pork/bean dish AND the fish stew. Both were fabulous!
Loved this small cooking class and it's chef with such a vibrant personality! Food and interaction was terrific.
The class was great. We should have taken it earlier in our trip, but it was entertaining and the knowledge was helpful anyway. Loved knowing more when we went out to other restaurants after taking the class.
This cooking class was great. Chef Simone was engaging, knowledgable and all around fun. We made seafood moqueca and caipirinhas and everything was delicious. If you have the time while in Rio, it's a great activity to do!
Chef Simone does a great job, not just demonstrating a recipe, but giving everyone some hands on experience.
Excellent cooking class. Simone gives you lots of insight into Brazilian culture and the food you cook is amazing.
Take this class -- it was wonderful! The chef, Simone, is a delightful, charming woman who makes you feel instantly at home. Within 5 minutes, our group of strangers had become friends. We made two appetizers and a seafood entrée -- all delicious. Lots of fun. Do it for sure.
This was one of the highlights of our trip. It was fun, educational, and, of course, one of the best meals of the trip. I highly recommend it, and I recommend doing it at the beginning of your trip as opposed to the end. You'll have a better understanding of the culture and the region.
