This tour was great! Our guide, Luis, was fantastic. Not only did he take us to additional places that weren't on our itinerary, but he drove us around in a car to give us optimal time. We even ended up at a beautiful cafe in the area. Santa Teresa is not to be missed!
Great tour highly recommended. Tour guide was highly knowledgeable
Fabulous - our guide Luiz was just the best - he knew the area intimately, picked up on what interested us and paced the whole half day extremely well - we had a most enjoyable stroll around this "real" part of Rio, including a trip in the excellent underground metro, lamented the accident and "paasing" of Santat Theresa's famous tram, drank acai at the wonderful "Cafecite", visited local art and craft shops and marvelled at the Selaron staircase with its more than 2,000 tiles from over 120 countries. All in all this tour was the perfect way to round off a great week in this exciting place.

Excellent tour! Truly got a feel for the people of Rio instead of just the big city environment. A must do tour.
This trip took in a lot over a short amount of time. The guide was very knowledgeable about the city, history and geography. It took in many of the sights of the central city and are, including the famous staircase. There were some amazing views from the top of Santa Teresa of Sugar Loaf. I can highly recommend this to all new comers in Rio
Excellent tour. The guide, Luiz from Urban Adventures, made it very interesting, communicating the whole time, giving extremely good information. He spent time with individual people during the walk, picking up on personal interests and then later sharing applicable points of interest along the way.
Well worth it. Pity the tram is still under repair after the unfortunate accident, but Luiz made up for it.
This was a very interesting tour of the neighborhood of Santa Teresa. Because of an accident in June the famous cable car was not operating at all so we took the subway and the local buses which was great. We had a wonderful guide. M
I had two great guides who did an excellent job. They really knew the history. You'll love this one and get to ride in the metro trains.
This tour is great, unfortunately the Tram is not runnign at the moment and teh day that we had booked was poring with rain but our Guide was still happy to take us and had a good knowledge and love of the Area, do this early in your trip it'll help you learn how to get around Rio easier.
Lot of waking,was good.
This tour was interesting and turned out to be beyond my expectations. It was great to see early part of the Rio history. There was a lot of walking, climbing hilly sections and stairs - that was unexpected.
the only problem its that the tram doesn't work.
Santa teresa it s a very nice neighborhood.
We hoped to use the tram but it did not operate. Please change the picture showing the tram from your advertisment.
