It was well worth doing this trip especially as you get a guided tour into the Peoples Palace, which was good. However one word of advice do not leave your bag unattended in the car whilst your taking photos.

The tour guide was very polite and seemed to be knowledgeable, but our full day tour lasted only about four hours. Some typical local markets would have been nice attractions. Also, to lengthen this to a real full-day tour, a drive to the nearby countryside would be another suggestion. I did these things by myself at considerable extra expense. This Bucharest sightseeing trip was definitely not worth the money.
