Make an early departure on this private day tour and drive through the scenic Prahova Valley. You will reach one of the most popular mountain and ski resorts in the Carpathians - Sinaia, the favorite place of King Carol 1st of Hohenzollern Sigmaringen, the first king of Romania. Here you will visit the splendid Peles Castle, former summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family, and the oldest building in town - the Sinaia monastery erected at the end of the 17th century.
The tour continues to Brasov, one of the most important towns of the area during the middle ages. Here you will visit the Black Church (closed on Sunday), which is the largest Gothic building in South Eastern Europe and houses a collection of unique oriental carpets. You will also visit St. Nicholas church and the First Romanian School in Transylvania.
After an optional lunch at a local restaurant drive to Bran village and visit the famous Dracula's castle, built in the 14th century on a 60 meter high rock by the merchants of Brasov, in order to protect the border between Transylvania and Wallachia. After a hunt for Dracula's souvenirs in the local market drive back to Bucharest.
