The hotel was great, the best we stayed in our whole tour in Italy. Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri were nice. Pretty fast paced, so have your walking shoes on. The Blue Grotto was pretty, but the men that rowed the smaller boats into the Grotto were very persistent about getting tipped. I did not like being told to tip someone before I was even finished with the boat ride.

The hotel at Sorrento is 1st class. We had a very nice stay. The breakfast is ok but the dinner is really good. As for the tour the guides are nice and informative. We managed to see quite a bit of stuff with good timing. I found the management of transport and baggage are excellent. We didn't even worry about our luggage when we head out for capri. It's a bit pricey for a budget traveller like me but still i think its value for money.

The tour was ok. Naples was only a 30 minute walking tour, basically to keep you busy while they were figuring out which bus to put everyone on. Pompeii was beautiful but you needed more time than 2 hours, the guide walked so fast and you could not really hear well on the microphones. Sorrento was beautiful but you were only there for the night, the hotel alone was pretty much worth the tour. Capri was beautiful, but did not get to see the blue grotto which is normal I guess since the sea needs to be completely flat. You really did not get much "free time". Would have skipped the lunches not so good for more free time. Dinner in Sorrento was good. Met some nice people and the sights were lovely. Sorrento and Pompeii were my favorites.

I enjoyed each day a separate event but it was the overnight and the transportation between that I was not happy with. The bus was an hour late. I was the only person doing the two day trip. After the day trip to Pompeii I was transferred to a bus to Sorrento. This bus has four different tour groups on it. I was taken to my hotel and told I would be picked up the next day at 945. I had taken the two day tour as I assumed that I would arrive in Capri early in the morning but we did not leave the hotel till after 1015. The other people that were with me were on a two night trip. I was the only English speaker. My tour guide tried to include me but it was hard as they wanted to talk all the time and in Spanish. I was told that I had to leave my bag in Sorrento and it would be taken to Naples where I would pick it up. After the trip to Capri I was hooked up with the tour guided for the day trip to Capri who told me were to meet my bus for Rome. I found that I was shuttled between different guides and groups on the tour. I felt like I had bundled different tours together and not like I paid for a two day tour. I would have liked more information on how I would be with different groups, and different companies at different times when I booked. The tour of Naples was all of 30 minutes. I was on my own in Sorrento. Next time I would do it myself as I did not feel like I was on a tour only that I book transportation.
