This is the best 5 tour we had. Our tour director stefano is excellent and accommodating . Hotels are in great location . Side trips are reasonably price. Highly recommended . Carani tours is d best
The Tour was very good for who want to visit Italy in this short period, i took it with some other tours and it was great but the following i did not like:
- the Hotel in Florence was very old and small.
- I do not recommend anyone to take the on land Hotel at Venice as they will not experience Venice properly,
on the other hand:
- Carlos the guide was so helpful and calm.
-the Hotel in Venice was good relatively speaking, but the rooms were so small, if you have two bags you will not find a place to store.
- the Guide at Florence was amazing.
- I recommend to take all of the additional tours especially in Florence and this will cost you around 130 Euros.
Great tour guide with excellent knowledge and customer service. Good hotels Good meals. Good tour guide at Florence museum of David excellent knowledge and customer service Excellent tour itinerary
Excellent tour, amazing how much you manage to see in 5 days.
Nicole our tour guide was amazing, very helpful and informative.
Worth booking onto all the additional tours academy in Florence, Pisa, Venice at night and gondola ride for a total of 130 euros per person. Very good value for money overall.
Hotels all lovely, worth paying upgrade in Venice for better location on the islands. Food very good given included in price and Nicole was excellent at recommending places for lunches etc. very accommodating with allergies and dietary requirements if mentioned in advance.
Worth noting, not for the faint hearted, early starts before 7am every day, lots of walking including up hill at a reasonable pace especially tough in a heatwave!!. We're in our 20s and found it hard enough at 40 degrees!!!
Overall an amazing tour and would highly recommend!!
I loved our tour guide, Patrizia. She was so informative and fun!
All travelers in our group were varied and interesting.
So in all I would reccommend and enjoy the experience again!
The tour was great! Value for money and Stefano, our tour guide was wonderful. We will take another tour with that tour company again. Thanks Viator.
Our tour guide Mirijam was fantastic. The hotels were nice, the food could have been better. Overall the trip is very worth it. So much learning from guides and knowledge passed along. 8 citie in 5 days is fast paced, but you really feel like you get your moneys worth.
Excellent tour!!! Our tour director, Clara, was full of energy and kept us smiling for the whole 5 days. I was fortunate to have a good group of people of the tour and there was a good atmosphere. There were a number of nationalities I was the only European but everyone made an effort to talk to each other. Clara said in high season there is a bus each for English and Spanish languages There was a decent mix of age groups too, 60 50, 30 25.
We spent just enough time in each place I thought, with two hour stop offs in Assisi, Siena, Bologna and Padua, and you could go explore yourself. I'm not that interested in churches but the cities were all nice, and I thought Assisi was particularly impressive. Florence and Venice speak for themselves.
The hotels were good, no complaints, but I'm happy with a good bed, breakfast and no noise. I stayed in the Mediterreneano and Carlton, and I think the Carlton was a bit nicer. It was also good being in Venice, but wasn't ideal being split from the rest of the group.
The meals were well planned and were good, not great, but good. The lunch in Florence was the best in my opinion, simple but good flavours.
Clara showed us where to go when in the 4 stop offs and gave us a night tour in Venice. There are some extras you can pay for, a tour in each of Florence and Venice with a guide which I took, and were very good. I got to see the David and San Marco's Basilica. There was the obligatory stop off at somewhere you can spend some money the Murano Glass was most popular - jewellery for the ladies!!!. I didn't take the bus trip to Pisa from Florence or the gondola ride in Venice. had already been in Pisa but a couple of hours there is all you need so it's a good option
I had a great time, met good people and saw some amazing places.
This was an incredible experience my family and I will always reminisce about, Clara made this an unforgettable trip, she was helpful with all directions, hotel questions and translations, Clara provided us with all the information we needed for the whole trip and more, Her uplifting spirit kept the entire group informed and welcomed, Mike was a great driver and made us all feel safe, we saw so many beautiful places and had a wonderful time, this tour is well worth it, thank you Clara for all of your help, you made my whole family feel at home. Sincerely Lewis
Italy is beutiful. The five day fantasia tour was extremely organized and awesome. Ten stars to the tour guide Clara!!!! Her commitment and talent is probably the best memory We will have from the experience. So organized, yet flexible!! Her enthusiasm and joy was contagious!!!
Fabulous . 8 wonderful cities . Clara, our tour director was fantastic .
This tour took me to the best of Northern Italy and it was a wonderful experience. They also offer optional tours in Florence and Venice (from your own pocket, but to me they are not expensive). The guide was good and the 5 day trip was very relaxing. The hotel could be better, very small room and bathroom (even they are 4 stars hotels) and the meals and breakfasts could be better. Overall, I will give 4 1/2 stars for this tour. If you visit Italy for the first time, this will be a very good tour!
This tour was AMAZING..I would recommend this to anyone. Our tour guide was fantastic who spoke great english and new her stuff from anything from the Roman empire to Scottish Clans. SHE WAS GREAT.The tour was lovely too, saw so many places with lots of time to ourselfs. The hotels were good and the food was very nice. I have no complaints... Everyone should try this trip........
Excellent tour! The tour guide Carla was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and well organized. Arranged food to our preference in Florence and Venice. Optional tours to Pisa and Venice by Night was more than what we had expected. We enjoyed this tour to the fullest.
I traveled with my two daughters. The tour was well planned and all together we'll organize.
We'll worth the money. We were lucky to have a very nice tour coordinator who really look after her group very well, she knows her job well. Only one concern in that there were extra tours that should have been notified to us so if we wanted to pay before we left home I would have done so to save my little cash, as I choose to travel with little cash. These tours was worth the extra. All in all I enjoyed my trip viator.
A wonderful trip visited lots of beautiful places
Great value from money with an aswesome tour guide Lucy who had great knowledge of all places
Make sure you have cash with you to do the add on trips they are well worth the money about 200 euro pre person
The only disappointing part was my hotel in Venice was not on the island it was on the mainland so it took about 45mins to an hour to get onto the island
Overall had an awesome time and met a lot of lovely travellers
this was a fantastic tour. We had limited time in Italy so this tour was small in size all english speaking and just a great experience. Our tour guide Nicole was knowledgable, helpful, and caring,. Thanks Nicole for all your efforts on this tour, The only negative was the food at our accommodation in Venice! Many thanks andrew and helen taylor
One of the best tours we ever had. Mario, the tour director made it even more enjoyable with his helpful nature, witty comments, jokes and songs. The tour was very informative and enjoyable. Keep about 200 euros cash in hand per person if you want to avail of all the optional tours/visits. Florence Museum tour was an eye opener for us with its vast collection of paintings. Venice was unforgettable. At St. Marks square they have live orchestra which is spell bounding. Wish Viator had arranged the first evening dinner in Venice in a restaurant near the orchestra ! It would have been an unforgettable experience. Similarly, on second day in Venice, they should provide lunch instead of dinner, and keep the entire afternoon (after lunch) free for shopping and personal visits. That way there would be no compulsion of rushing back for dinner from wherever you are. Overall, a very well organised tour.
Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Time to see and do a variety of things.
Amazing tour our guide Stephano was great. This tour gives you so much to see and still plenty of free time to explore on your own. We will definitely book with viator to see southern italy
This tour took us to some wonderful areas, Tuscany was just as I imagined it to be. The motel in Florence was a disgrace and the restaurant was a continual line of feeding one bus load after another. The motel in Venice was right on the Grand Canal and really lovely (we paid the higher rate and were pleased as the cheaper rate motel was on the mainland and nowhere near the canals) Unfortunately, our tour guide was inept and we were late for most things we went to which cut our time down at each place. However, in fairness, we did have some bad luck in being delayed coming out of Rome due to a car accident and leaving Venice back to Rome, with a broken hydraulic line on the bus, the fact remains he was completely disorganized throughout the trip.
Very well organised way to see the historic centres of a number of famous cities. It's actually a sort of holy pilgrimage as many of the main places to see are the Basilicas of Catholic saints. However if that doesn't interest you the guide will point you in the direction of shops and restaurants. The guide did a good job of looking after everyone and the hotels were good.
I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide Alessandro was informative, humorous and very accommodating. Initially, for our travel to Italy, I considered renting a car or catching the train to all the cities included in the tour and "doing it on my own". For those of you thinking that you can save a few bucks and just rent a car, book tickets for your sites of interest and hotels-FORGET IT!!!! Travel by car including parking at every city we toured was horrible so to have a bus pull up to the site, have the "skip the line tickets" and have your guide explain the historical significance of every basilica, monument, historical site, etc was well worth every penny. By the way, the bus was new, clean, had free wifi and very comfortable. Even the hotel check in process was seamless-we got off the bus, pulled our bags into the lobby, and were handed our room keys within just a few minutes. Bottom line, save yourself a huge headache and book with these guys. The entire tour was as simple as showing up with your bags in Rome then hopping on the bus, everything else was expertly planned
This was a great way to see a lot in a short period of time. Tour guide Stefan was very good. He handled the tour group very professionally. His English was also very good and he was easy to understand. All of our stops were well planned and although we did not take any of the optional excursions, others in our group said they were also well organized. Only negative I could say is that the walking tour guide in Venice was difficult to understand and the meals at the hotels were not the greatest. That being said I rate the overall experience excellent. My wife, 2 adult children and I enjoyed it very much.
