Our tour guide was an accomplished archaeologist who was able to shed light on the sights, the history and the current status on the digs in progress and the latest finds. She managed to gain us entrance into the Roman Forum while election proceedings had forced security to close the main access. We had the Forum to ourselves, and our small group was able to savor so much history in relative quiet and privacy. It was amazing. I would suggest that anyone traveling to Italy use Viator. An amazing travel site and easy to book and navigate. We booked 9 days worth of fabulous tours in 4 cities, and each was exceptional. Cannot wait to go again.

Best tour we took in Rome from inside the Colosseum, down Roman Forum, inside Pantheon, and tossing coins into Trevi Fountain. The guide was exceptional! You could tell she loved her city.
