Assisi is now one of our favorite places to visit. It is absolutely beautiful and our guide was able to share the history and interesting stories to give it even more beauty! We enjoyed the trip up to Orvieto and we could have spend more time exploring the village. The pick up and drop off at our hotel was a real bonus, thanks.
The Assisi guide was excellent. She was passionate about her subject. Most importantly, she was brief and allowed a perfect mix of her talking versus our exploring.
A beautiful and deeply moving tour. Absolutely inspiring. The art and architecture were remarkable. Don't miss the little chapel of St. Francis, inside the larger cathedral! Again, the guide was excellent.
It was great , would have liked the tour guide to speak a little louder, to soft spoken to understand while setting in the back of the bus.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Orvieto and Assisi. I had done the same tour 5 years previously and had enjoyed it thoroughly and wanted my husband experience it as well. William, our tour guide who was on the first trip I made as well, is a lovely, charming guide and his friendly personality makes the trip more enjoyable. I was pleased to see that there is now some free time in Assisi, which wasn't on the agenda 5 years ago. Also, the farm stop for lunch on Lake Tresameni is delightful place to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there, so much that we plan to rent one of their chalets the next time we visit Italy. I had read negative reviews but don't believe them as this day trip a delightful way to see a small part of Italy.Vicki and Steve, Perth W Australia
This trip was excellent and brought back many memories from 42 years ago when I came here at age 18. the Guide was excellent as was the lunch.
What a great trip
The trip to Orvieto and Assisi was more than great. Traveling with Viator was a success. The pick up from near Ponte Sisto was on time. The guide was ok. The lunch at the Agritourismo and the atmosphere provided was something new for me and I was really impressed. The Assisi tour was really ok. The local tour guide spoke perfect English and was really informed about the place. She took us to every corner and explained clearly the history of the place. For sure in the coming future I will be using Viator again cause when I booked with another supplier to Tivoli I was left stranded without any notice. I found Viator very reliable. Thanks, it was so nice.
The trip was perfect! I traveled with parents and sister and they also enjoyed it. Beautiful views of Tuscany, the cable car lift to Orvieto, lunch and finally visit to Assisi is truly unforgettable. Our guide was a really nice man as well as the girl that guided as in Assisi. Everything was organized very well, the trip is worth its price!;)
It was good, but instead of wasting 2 hours for lunch we could have used that time in Assisi
The tour we went on was given by Green Line Tours GLT in Rome. They picked us up at our hotel at the exact time they said they would be there. We had a wonderful, knowledgeable tourguide. The tour included a tram ride in Orivieto, waling tour of Assisi, and a lovely lkunch at an Agricultural Restaurant on the way. It was a great day.
