Assisi was amazing, and the guide was great! Orvieto was not worth seeing. The lunch was adequate. This is a full day from 6:30 AM to 7 PM. It would have been better to avoid Orvieto and have time to shop in Assisi. I saw some of the most unique shopping in all of Italy in Assisi, but we didn't have any time to shop.

Enjoyable day, but because of traffic, we didn't get back till after 8:30 pm.

We enjoyed it very much. Very beautiful! We'd have been happy to spend more time in Orvieto but were glad we got to see both places in one day. The guides were very accommodating, and lunch was delicious!

This is a "worth it" one day excursion especially for those who don't have a lot of time. In Orvieto we had the opportunity to ride the "funicular". The lunch that was included in the tour was very good. We ate at a farmhouse. Though we wish we could stay longer in Assisi, we were given a good amount of time to look around the places that made Assisi famous. It's beautiful there! I suggest anyone who would like to visit Assisi to read something about St. Francis and St. Clare prior to the trip. This will help you to fully appreciate the place.

We could have spent more time in Orvieto exploring the cathedral and the town. Lunch was excellent.

Very scenic views.

The only complaint I have is that the lunch provided consisted of very small portions of lamb kebab. Other than that, it was an excellent tour.

We enjoyed the beautiful tour through the countryside, the guide was great and knew a lot about the area we were touring. The bus driver also did an excellent job.

The trip was great. The driver picked me up from the hotel even though I forgot to call. The only 2 complaints I have is that the guide could have presented more information of what we were passing by and the lunch wasn't cooked properly. The pork meat was raw. So eat along the way. But the views and the trip itself were worth every penny.

I would rather have gone just to Assisi and had more time there. Oriveto was not that great.

The tour of both Orvieto and Assisi was good and exceeded my expectations, both sites were wonderful, lunch was delicious however we were given 10 minutes to meet in Assisi and told there would be shopping afterward, this didn't occur and we were rushed to the bus. Most people were disappointed and annoyed that there one chance in Assisi on getting gifts did not occur due to an oversight by the tour guide as everyone arrived at designated times and places as advised.

Everything that we had expected. Great trip, really enjoyed Orveato a little more time there may have been nice. Assissi was great and we saw everything that we expected that we would. Lunch was very nice. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

It was a long day with a lot of driving on the bus but the sites and lunch in Tuscany were amazing. Orvieto was a little empty when we got there in the morning, but it was beautiful. The lunch in typical Tuscany was great and we were able to buy some wine, olive oil, and other typical Italian food. In the afternoon Assisi was gorgeous, though by that time we were a little tired of going into so many churches.

We thoroughly enjoyed the day trip to the Tuscany and Umbria areas. We had a lovely breakfast there and had no problems returning to the bus. The views were lovely, and the place chosen for our lunch stop was fantastic. On arrival, the wine and food tasting was a nice treat, and the lunch and wine provided were wonderful. I enjoyed it all, especially the visits to the three main cathedrals there. All in all, it was a wonderful day, which I would heartily recommend.
My husband, who is somewhat handicapped as a result of a stroke, was able to enjoy the tour, even the steep climb to Orvieto, thanks to the effective assistance of our tour guide. Also, it began to rain as we reached Assisi, and rather than facing a slippery walk on the cobblestones my husband was able to stay on the bus and rejoin the group after our visit to the Basilica of Saint Francis.
This was a wonderful day with every detail covered nicely! I couldn't imagine trying to do this myself. Getting out of Rome for the day and seeing the beautiful Italian countryside was great, and the setting for our lunch was just lovely! I would do it again!
