Best part of the trip was the tour in Assisi. The guide there was excellent. Overall the trip was great, but they need to find a new place for lunch.

The day trip was fun and very scenic. The tour operator seemed well organized, the hotel pickups went smoothly, getting on the proper buses for different trips was efficient. A lunch at a farm was included that was a bit of a disappointment. Firstly you were led to a small shed full of gourmet goodies you could purchase. Thinking these goodies would make up part of our meal was mouthwatering. But when the food came it was far from gourmet; however, the restaurant was pleasant and the staff friendly. Orvieto and Assisi were lovely places to visit. In fact, more time there would have been welcome, but you make the most of your time and still manage to drink in the views and peaceful atmosphere.

I very much enjoyed our tour of Assisi and Orvieto, although the tour did not exactly follow the outline set forth on the website. It was also very confusing to be shuttled from my hotel to the meeting point and then to yet another place to catch the tour bus. Our tour guide in Assisi was TERRIFIC and paced the tour very well. She provided a great deal of information and was very interesting.

Good day, great guides. Would have liked a little more time in Orvieto. Great lunch.

Had a great time! I also did the Taste of Italy Tour the day before, so I recommend doing one or the other. You end up seeing a lot of the same countryside. Lunch was ok, but for the price, I think water should have been included with lunch! Assisi was fantastic, however you don't get much time to shop about 20 minutes. I'd do this trip again if the entire day was devoted to Assisi.

Would have enjoyed more time in Assisi & Orvieto. The meal served was not too good.

Excellent time! A lot of time on the bus, but worth the trip!

Assisi was amazing, and the guide was great! Orvieto was not worth seeing. The lunch was adequate. This is a full day from 6:30 AM to 7 PM. It would have been better to avoid Orvieto and have time to shop in Assisi. I saw some of the most unique shopping in all of Italy in Assisi, but we didn't have any time to shop.

Enjoyable day, but because of traffic, we didn't get back till after 8:30 pm.

We enjoyed it very much. Very beautiful! We'd have been happy to spend more time in Orvieto but were glad we got to see both places in one day. The guides were very accommodating, and lunch was delicious!

This is a "worth it" one day excursion especially for those who don't have a lot of time. In Orvieto we had the opportunity to ride the "funicular". The lunch that was included in the tour was very good. We ate at a farmhouse. Though we wish we could stay longer in Assisi, we were given a good amount of time to look around the places that made Assisi famous. It's beautiful there! I suggest anyone who would like to visit Assisi to read something about St. Francis and St. Clare prior to the trip. This will help you to fully appreciate the place.

We could have spent more time in Orvieto exploring the cathedral and the town. Lunch was excellent.

The only complaint I have is that the lunch provided consisted of very small portions of lamb kebab. Other than that, it was an excellent tour.

We enjoyed the beautiful tour through the countryside, the guide was great and knew a lot about the area we were touring. The bus driver also did an excellent job.
