This was one of the highlights of our trip! The drive through the countryside was absolutely beautiful: the sunflowers and the medieval towns nestled on the hillsides. Orvieto was enchanting as well, and Assisi was so lovely. It was a very hot day, and one family did not show up at the meeting point at the day's end. We waited for them in the heat for quite a while. They were on the bus. If the tour guide and bus driver communicated by cell, this delay could have been avoided.

The tour guide was wonderful and he made the tour very interesting. Even with the rainy day, we had a wonderful time. Orvieto, Assisi, and all the stops were grand! I would recommend it to all my friends!

Assisi was absolutely great. One of the most picturesque towns I have ever visited. Would love to live there, except there's probably not much to do at night. Very small town, and we walked it from one end to the other. The tour was great, and we loved every minute.

Awesome trip! We would do this one again. I just wished we had more time in each village to actually shop!

Both towns were easy to get to with the funicular, bus and escalator which is a big help for seniors, and people with hardships. Lunch was very good. Would love to return to Orvieto and spend more time. All in all the day was very worth the time and money to see those beautiful sites.

Loved this trip! Food was good. The only suggestion I would have is to somehow allow more time in Orvieto. Way too short there. Otherwise, highly recommend!

I love these two towns. I didn't really know much about either, but definitely want to go back and stay at either one. Orvieto was beautiful, although we didn't have enough time there. The church is worth the visit, and the town looked amazing. Assisi was delightful, but again there was no time to go off the path of the tour. Our tour guide in Assisi was knowledgeable. Be sure to seek out the bathrooms; the guides don't allow much time on your own, and bathrooms are few and far between. This is a silly but important point. Both towns were absolutely beautiful. The lunch stop was fun for souvenir shopping; however, lunch was just adequate. We were in a nice size group, only 18 people. I recommend this.

We loved this tour! It was one of the highlights of our trip. The lunch was great. Orvieto was a special town and an unexpected surprise. Our only minor complaint is that we wish we had time at the top of the hill in Assisi to shop as there were so many shops there, and we only had time to shop at the bottom of the hill. There was not as much down there where we had to meet the bus and the tour guide.

We had a wonderful time walking through the medieval castles. Our guide was very enthusiastic and helpful. In Assisi, we had another guide, who was able to explain in full detail the principles of architecture used back in those days. Every detail was taken care of. Lunch was very nice, too.

I had the best time, it was well worth it. Assisi was gorgeous and we stopped for lunch in Umbria, which was breathtaking!

The tour was both informative and enjoyable. The shuttle pick up was prompt, the guide knowledgeable and friendly, the lunch at the winery was filling, and the destinations were all very interesting. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a bit of the Italian countryside and hill towns without spending a lot of time on the road. We were back in Rome in time for more sightseeing and dinner.
