This walking tour covered the various squares and piazzas. The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable.
This tour easily covered most of the great sites in Rome. Disappointed we couldn't enter the Panethon due to afternoon mass taking place. GREAT tour guide (Niccolo) kept us entertained and informed

Excellent guide who was a native Roman. Full of knowledge and kept us entertained. The group wasn't too big, which was nice, and the complimentary coffee break was a great treat!
Our tour guide was well informed and humourous during the 3 hour tour. We just loved the tour .... cheap for what you learned about Roman history. We will book tours with Dark Rome without hesitation when we return to Rome in 2013,
Our tour guide (Damiana) was awesome; he had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable. We touched on many of the spots that you know to hit and many others that were not even on my radar, like to still operational aqueduct. This is a must for anyone who only has a couple of days to explore Rome and wants to get around to several site efficiently.
Guide was super. Tour was very worth seeing and gave a great general overview of the layout of Rome. It also was filled with lots of interesting facts and trivia that made the tour unique for the traveler.
Perfect tour to see where all the great piazzas are located in relation to each other. Makes it easy to come back and walk around on your own. Guide was knowledgeable and fun.
This was a great tour. Our guide was very interesting and told us lots of details that really enhanced the experience of everything we saw. We took the afternoon tour and it was getting a little dark by the time we were done, which made some of the pictures not so good. Otherwise it was fine.
It was a very entertaining and informative tour. our guide, maximo, was very nice, very knowledgeable, and took his time. Our tour was supposed to be from 330-630pm, but we finished at almost 830pm! Best tour so far! Highly recommended! And if you can choose your tour guide, choose Maximo.
This tour was great on our first afternoon in Rome as it gave us a look around without too much trouble as 2 days before Chrismas Rome is packed! Francesca made the tour entertaining and very historically informative. It wasn't at a cracking pace so it allowed us to have a good look around. She also gave us a fantastic recommendation for dinner which we really enjoyed as it was a local establishment and not full of tourists. Highly recommend.
This was a great tour. Even though we were sick we still enjoyed the sights we saw. Tour guide was pretty good and we lucked out with the weather. We recommend this for anyone.
Sadly this pm was during the one day of very heavy rain in our week in Rome. However Toni was superb. She guided us through 4 hours of historic Rome, mostly outside. No one wanted to stop - the true measure of our enjoyment. Yes, we got absolutely soaked - so what?! We were fully taken up with the action AND the hearing device was excellent, enabling us to hear the voice of our guide all the time even if we fell behind. Perhaps this tour should have been am or started one hour earlier as we finished in the dark - it was mid November! This is the ONLY reason why we rate this 4 not 5.
Cant speak too highly enough about this tour, which was made so very interesting by the exceptional tour guide we had on this evening. Really glad we did this tour on our first evening, although we were tired, it was worth every moment. We walked over a large area and covered a lot of ground in three and half hours. Again the tour guide was absolutely full of vital information and so interesting. There was nothing she didnt know. Truly exceptional. We would recommend this tour to everyone who hasnt been to Rome before, especially on their first afternoon/evening.
