Loved the trip! Capri is lovely and interesting; and the Blue Grotto is truly an experience. Would have liked more free time for shopping in both Capri and Anacapri.

Pick up at hotel was prompt! And the tour followed the outlined schedule to a tee. Explanations of what was expected of us were made throughout the tour. I'd use your company again on our next trip!

It is better not to include the Blue Grotto and let tourists off in Capri and let them take the 11 euro trip by boat to the Grotto. Even with a calm ocean, it would be impossible to accommodate the huge numbers of tourists, 4 at a time, in the cave. It makes it false advertising to give the impression that one could gain access to the Grotto, either from sheer numbers or poor weather.

Blue Grotto was a disappointment. You go into the cave for about three minutes, then out one small circle. It was not worth the money.

This was not worth the trip from Rome. The location is beautiful. The tour guide didn't care.

There was too much stress, and the guide hardly spoke any English. She spoke Spanish, and some Spanish people in the group translated the most important parts for us English speakers. I paid for a guided tour!

The tour was spoilt by a few details. In high season, it's like a cattle stampede. We were disappointed that we could not see the grotto. The tour guide's English was weak, and he was not well organised.

The restaurant service for lunch was very poor. To serve the gentlemen sitting next to me, the waiter passed the spoon of food over my head and got rice on my head and drink. When he put the cheese on my pasta, he also threw it on my shorts. The tour guide should have been there to make sure everything was fine. I guess he had better things to do. The only choices were fish or veal; my husband asked for veal and got it when I was already having dessert. We just got up and left. Once again, the tour guide was not available. We did not see him from 1:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m.

We did not see the Blue Grotto because of wind. The guide told us that one of every ten tours may be lucky enough to see the Blue Grotto. I wish someone had told us. It was a very expensive tour, and it was a long drive from Rome. Capri is a beautiful place. However, the boat ride for lots of people was very rough and bumpy. It rained when I visited, but I still enjoyed the trip. The tour guide was nice enough to drop me at my hotel on our return.

We were picked up at our hotel at 6.40am but the trip did not leave until about 8.30am. The bus was packed so the 4 of us who had arranged to meet and enjoy the trip together had to sit separately. The bus was not particularly comfortable either. It was only when we got onto the first boat on Capri that I discovered I was expected to step from this boat onto a really small rowing boat. Fortunately for me but unfortunately for my companions it was decided to close the blue grotto just as we arrived, this was due to the heavy swell. We then returned to the harbour where we met a coach which took us up to the top for lunch. As lunch was ready to serve etc., I am not sure what would have happened if the grotto had been open as it would have taken at the very least 90 minutes to get us all into the rowing boats etc. We finally arrived back in Rome at about 7.30pm and had we waited to be returned to our hotel it would have taken another 2 hours or so. We got off at Termini station and got a taxi back to the hotel. Lunch was very tasty and the tour guides tried to be helpful but all in all I felt the excursion to have been overpriced for what we received.

It haled that day so we couldn't go, instead they routed us to Florence. The trip guides were nice, however, I'm pretty sure we lost some money in it.

Most of the time was spent in transit from Rome to Naples then to Capri. Once we got to Capri, we got little information as to its importance and its history. The Blue Grotto itself is beautiful, but it is crowded with tourists just trying to get in. I'm not sure if they have even considered the environmental impact of hundreds of people in gas/diesel boats trying to see this small, yet amazing cave.

It was a long trip to spend so little time on the island. If I could do it again, I would do one of the multiple-day tours so it doesn't feel like the majority of the day is spent traveling.

We did not have enough time to see anything of the island apart from shops that sold rubbish. The meal was not very good, but the boat ride was enjoyable.

The trip to the island took about two hours one way. The way back took us about three hours. Once you got to the island, you have to wait for two hours and you only stayed for five minutes in the cave. The lunch was really terrible. Basically, it was not worth it.
