If it were an option, I would give it three and a half stars. The guide was just great, and very very knowledgeable.

It was a fascinating tour, but I wish our guide would only have had to present it in English. Listening to it in English and Spanish was annoying.

The tour was very good. However, at the end of the tour we were dropped off approximately 1 mile from our hotel in a thunderstorm. Ended up costing us to get a taxi ride back to our hotel.

Catacombs tour was a bit short, but the rest of the tour was FANTASTIC!! Very nice tour guides. Very knowledgeable. Definitely a must see!

Great ride to the catacombs, lots of info. Made Rome come alive. We're also glad we saw the churches.

The tour was great. We had a rainy day, so that put a bit of a damper on it, but still it was worth doing. I had been to Rome before and had been to the Basilicas before, but it was great to have a tour guide this time around. They gave us a lot of information about things rather than just looking around and not really knowing what you were looking at (i.e., who built it, how old it was, etc.).

The sights on this tour are very nice. The only complaint I would have is the tour guide and bus driver. We were only a small amount of time in the basilicas, and the guide did a little explaining outside and then let us in ourselves; on some other tours you have earphones and the guide is speaking to you all the time. The guide was not over friendly and just seemed to want to get the tour finished as it was probably her last of the day.

Considering it was a "Christian" tour, the tour guide was somewhat irreverent. Also, it was supposed to be an English-speaking tour. It turned out to be about 75 percent Spanish and 25 percent very heavily Italian accented English.

What a disappointment and rip-off this tour turned out to be. Our three hour tour was about two hours, and our guide was more interested in getting done than spending the time with the group and really showing the sights to us as stated in the description. The spectacular view of the Baths of Emperor Caracalla was merely a "drive by" and fell completely short of spectacular. The guide gave a minimal amount of information about Rome in general or other items of interest. She had a captive audience, obviously eager to learn, and we spent more time looking out the window than receiving information about Rome and its history. What a waste of time and money!!!!

Sites at which tour stopped were definitely worth seeing. Tour guide was very good. Bus was not air-conditioned as advertised, and was extremely uncomfortable.

After keeping us waiting on bus for l2 hour, we began tour. Passing different points of interest we finally arrived at catacombs. Tour was given by a priest and was so very interesting and moving. He was a wealth of information and so intent on passing it on to us. Then we were taken to Church of Mary Maggiore and given a short time to visit this church as they began tour late and now time was short. Guide was Ok but we felt rushed. Overall, I was glad we had opportunity to visit catacombs.

My expectation of this tour was greater than what I actually received. Nevertheless, from an educational point, this tour was very good. I learned a lot about the catacombs, the great cathedrals in Rome and their historical significance in relationship to the Vatican.

I would have preferred a more in-depth tour, but it was good for an overview. The tour bus was old and grubby. You couldn't even see out of one of the windows. It didn't feel quite clean.
