As with the transfer to the port, our pickup was on time and the driver did his best to make sure we were comfortable on our way back to the airport.

Even though we did not make the call 24-48 hours before docking in port at the end of our trip, we were pleased when we walked out after departing the ship and they were there waiting on us.

It was a fantastic experience! Your driver was waiting for us exactly as stated. The great part was that most people on our cruise had no idea how far Rome was from the port and had not set up a transfer. All we had to do was gather our luggage and there was the driver waiting for us with a sign with our name. It was great and I would recommend Viator Civitavecchia Port Private Arrival Transfer. Also the price of the transfer was very reasonable compared to what other people on our cruise had to pay. Thank you so very much for a great experience. This was the first time we used Viator service and look forward to using Viator again!

We were a party of 8 with 16 bags, our ship docked at 4 a.m. so therefore we were off the ship by 715. Our transfer arrived around 8 a.m. the time I told them. The van was large enough for all our luggage and us. The only negative was the the driver did not speak English, however we had no problems so that didn't matter.

Driver arrived right at appointed time with a sign showing our name. He took care of all our luggage both at the port and the hotel lobby. He was friendly, professional and proficient in English.

Arriving in a port with few taxis it was great having the transportation pre-arranged. The driver was waiting for us as soon as we exited the vessel.

The driver met us at the port ahead of schedule. The van was large enough for all eight of us plus our luggage, and we had a lot, and it was very clean and comfortable. The driver was very courteous and helpful, too. Everyone thanked me for arranging the transfer. We had better service for less than half of what the cruise ship transfers cost.

Van wasn't really large enough for 7 people with wheelchair and luggage. We managed to get it all in, but there was considerable complaining from the driver. Otherwise, it was fine.

The only reason this is 3 stars instead of 4 is the trip was made in practical silence - the driver didn't speak very good English and didn't try to converse at all. He was 20 minutes early to our delight and it was a nice trip over all.
