Amazing! Skipping the line to get into the Vatican was wonderful it is very busy. David was our guide for the 6 hours we were actually in Rome. It was not a private tour but much better than the large bus tours the cruise ships throw you on with 50+ of your closest friends. My only complaint would be that the driver doesn't speak any english and won't give you any extra time for shopping. The tour could easily have been at least an hour longer. So much to see and so little time. David was wonderful and spoke English well so he was very easy to understand. Perfect excursion for Rome.

We had the most amazing day with our Tour guide Raffaela, she was really lovely and extremely knowledgable. We feel very privileged to have spent the day with her and see as much as we did. The lunch was beautiful and we had plenty of time to see everything. I highly recommend this tour

Tour guide, Alessandro was very knowledgeable. His explanations of the Sistine Chapel, and the Colliseum were fantastic. Highly recommend him.

This knowledgeable man made our tour of Rome a remarkable experience. His passion and knowledge made the history of Rome come alive. Our shipped arrived 3 hours late. He had to deal with a very unhappy group that was told we would miss the tour of St Peter's Basilica due to time contraints. He handled the situation well and so did the man I talked with on the phone through Viator. The issued was resolved in a way that made the entire tour a very pleasurable experience. The tour was very informative. The tour guide, Dott.ssa Raffaella Colabona, was exceptional. The transition from ship to the sites and back to the ship was fairly smooth. One glitch was being picked up after touring the Vatican. We had to wait a while because the bus couldn't park.

Our tour went very well. There were no delays, transportation was good, the guide was great, very knowledgable and informative. This was the higlight of our vacation.

Our excursion was wonderful. We got in late but were still able to see most of rome. The tour guide was outstanding and extremely knowleable.Wish we could do it again.

The tour was more than I had hoped for. Uta the Italian tour guide was an extremely knowledgeable guide with an excellent grasp of English. Her enthusiastic zeal for the subjects covered in the tour helped our enjoyment even more. She was willingly to adjust the tour to our desires and was flexible at all times to the situations at hand. The driver, Francesco, should be given a medal for his driving prowess in Roman traffic. He was calm, but decisive at all times. He would place us exactly where we needed to be and drop us off in front of the site desired and then come back to pick us up when we were finished. We never had to walk more than a few feet from the destination site. The coordination between Uta and Francesco was excellent. They were in constant communication with their cell phones. It seemed they were willing to do what ever they could to make our tour of Rome the best experience we could have. Both were extremely professional and courteous at all times. It was the best time I had in Italy. Bravissimo!

Viator 's Rome in One day Sightseeing tour proved an outstanding value and the high-light of our recent cruise. The organization was smooth; the initial guide in the van "Nancy"? was a great introduction; BUT Davida was just incredible! His knowledge, patience and friendly support made our day. Granted, we were extremely lucky to be the only couple on the tour this day, but his knowledge on the tour sights/events was great. We never felt rushed - despite a very full, educational and entertaining day. Congratulations David! Congratulations Viator! We would not hesitate to use your services agaun.

Absolutely amazing. Our tour guide was so educated about this city. We had a little bit of trouble getting the tour going because one of the ships was late getting into port. Once we got started we had a group of 6 and our own private coach. Skip the line entrance to all the major sites is a must. I would recomment this tour to anyone who has only a short stay in Rome.

We had a fantastic tour. Our guide, Davide Fanotti met the needs of our group- walking slowly as needed, helping the person with a physical disability. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend your tour company to everyone.

Our tour guide was amazing! She knew a lot of information and was very informative! She kept the group on track and never left anyone behind. Lunch was included on this tour and it was very good. I did a lot of price comparing and Viator had the best deal for the money. Don't book through your cruise ship. This tour is worth the money. We got right in to all the spots without waiting in line. Having a tour guide made all the difference so if you choose to do it alone you will miss out on a lot of education. I must stress that if you are unable to walk quickly or are handicaped this tour is not for you. They mean what they say.

This far exceeded our expectations! They where there at the cruise port to pick us up the second we arrived and we were off well before the large tour buses from the ship. The guide gave us a nice overview of the local area on the way to Rome. Once in Rome we saw all the major sites as outlined, and we even saw a few extra. The lunch was very nice in a local restaurant. The best part about the trip was our guide. She so engaging and interacted with us throughout the day. Her knowledge of the sites was detailed and very interesting. I will be recommending this to all interested friends heading to Rome.

Our trip was very nice and exceeded our expectations.The only downside was that there was not enough time for the ladies to shop.
