The tour was organized relatively well, but some of the guidance given was inconsistent. The main problem on the day we went was that one French couple (who comprised 5% of the group) demanded that the tour be conducted 50% in French.

This tour had the potential to be amazing, given the right tour guide and more time. Going to museum was rushed, but the local guide was knowledgeable and thorough in his explanation. The food provided was awful; the meal was very salty and did not taste good. Unfortunately, it was the worst meal I had during our 16-day trip to Italy. It would have been nice to not feel pressured to go to the leather shop and spend more time at the museum or visit the Uffizi.

The only valuable thing on the trip was David. We did not experience any of the charm of Florence.

Our Florence guide was mechanical, could have been a recording. She didn't really care if all the participants were there, before moving on the next attraction. Therefore I wasn't surprised when a number of people almost got lost. Only Japanese language guide from Rome took any real interest in participants needs. The tour was way overpriced.

I didn't think much of this tour. Our tour guide was walking so fast that we lost her. It rained off and on also. Another couple got lost and our return trip back to Rome was delayed by two hours.

I was quite disappointed in that we we not informed that the Accademia museum, which houses the original David - the highlight of the trip - was closed. Instead we were taken to an alternate museum that was just blah and then to see a copy of the David statue in a public square. Had we been informed that this part of the tour was being substituted, we would have chosen another tour instead.

Our guide was horrible and the trip way overpriced! Our guide didn't allow us to go to the bathroom when we asked, wanted us to shop where she wanted and gave us less than 45 minutes of time, barely said a thing about the area, did not explain things well. Also, the multiple languages were annoying.

It was not worth it at all!

The bus was prompt to pick us up in the morning, but the bus we took to Florence was in awful shape! The drive there was beautiful, though a little harrowing. The visits to galleries & churches were good and full of information. The guide was a delight! The tour provided lunch and we were taken to a large family style restaurant. The service was good, the food was tasty, but there wasn't enough to satisfy even the smallest appetite. We were given an hour and a half of free time to wander around. After that we went to the meeting point and waited for over an hour for the bus to show. When the bus finally did show, we drove around in a complete circle, ending up where we were picked up an hour earlier. With all of the additional waiting we could have had so much more time to wander, maybe find a good gelateria or cafe. Our primary guide was upset to be sure, and that made some feel less irritated, but the pit stop in the service station on the way back to Rome left much to be desired. Many of us were disappointed with the day, since being Florence, there is a wealth of things to see & do. I would not recommend this tour.

We did not get to see what we were supposed to see, we spent more time at lunch than anything else. We spent maybe an hour of the whole trip in Florence seeing things, and we spent more time in the leather shop. I do not recommend this trip because it was lousy, and not worth the money.

My main complaint: the tour left 30 minutes late. And when we were within a few hundred meters of Ponte Vechio, we didn't visit it.
