This tour was fun and educational. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to learn more about Italian wine history and wine making.
The best wine we had in Italy and Massimo was an amazing guide. A great time and highly recommended.
Amazing time had by all. Incredible portions of wine to taste and a great group of people. We loved it. Guide was very informative and certainly gave us a very interesting afternoon. Highly recommendable.
We loved this tour! Massimo, our tour guide was friendly and hilarious!! The drive was lovely as we got to see the Italian countryside on the way to the vineyard which was beautiful! I tried an olive from one of their olive trees...not quite ready for consumption :( The underground cave-like area where some of the barrels are kept was quite interesting, even with a couple of white spiders who have turned color from the temperature down there :) The wine tasting room was comfortable and the 4 wines we tasted were fabulous and were served with lots of information and laughter. You can't leave without buying some wine and perhaps an accessory or two. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great day
Tour was way worth it and well organized. We had great time: our guide Massimo was very knowledgeable and funny, keeping us all entertained and on schedule. We toured the vineyard, learned about history and about the process of wine making and tasted generous samples of very different wines. Great opportunity for a short, interested trip outside of Rome.
So many of these tours are dependent on the tour guide. We had Lyndie from Denmark. Fantastic, fun and knowledgeable. The wines were very good quality and the pours were healthy. Loved it.
It was so nice to leave the crowds of Rome and to see the beautiful countryside. Rebecca was an excellent guide! We especially enjoyed the generous wine tasting event and the opportunity to purchase some great wines.
the tour was wonderful. Our guide was very informative and very outgoing. The countryside was beautiful. The experience at the vineyard was so much fun. We learned a lot about wines,. We would go back again!
This was an excellent tour. We had a small group and a very good guide, Stephanie, to take us. Its a good contrast to visit an estate based winery rather than the large farms offering presented by cruise lines.
This was the perfect tour to end our trip in Rome. It was a great way to see the countryside and enjoy some authentic Roman wine. The guide was very informative and the views were magnificent.
This is a must do tour. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and the group size was just right. i would definitely recommend this tour.
Excellent tour! Very educational, learned about wine and olive trees, and tried some delicious wines. The wine tastings were almost full glasses, tour guide (Ettero) was very knowledgeable and fun. We were able to purchase wine at the end for very reasonable prices. Everything moved along very smoothly, had a fantastic time! This was the first time in Rome for my husband and I, and we definitely recommend for anyone coming to Rome who loves wine and the countryside! 2 thumbs up :)
Sara was a great guide! She was very knowledgable and love the fact we had a really small group. The wine and olive oil were delicious! Trip was well worth it. Very enjoyable and relaxing!
This trip was amazing! The perfect mix of informational and fun, would highly recommend!!
Our tour guide, Rebecca was awesome. She was very informative and articulate in her delivery. She repeatedly went above and beyond and even offered much guided advice on what to do outside of the tour.
This trail was amazing.
1. Our Tour guide was very informative and very helpful in explaining about the winery and about Italian wines in general.
2. The wine was very tasty and we were able to sample 4 with almost full glass of each for the tasting.
3. The bus ride was very quick (50 min each way) and very comfortable with a/c.
I would suggest this trip to anyone that is staying in Rome and can't make it up to Tuscany.
Lindy was AMAZING! I wish that I could have spent the day in Tuscany, however, due to the shortness of my trip, this was the PERFECT solution. We had 4 wines at Frascati and tasted their homemade olive oil. It was a lot of fun - wish I could have stayed longer!
Massimo was great as a our tour guide. Gave us lots of background on Roma that we wouldn't normally know. The wine was great and other people in our tour made the day memorable :)
Really enjoyed this, eight of us on the trip and guide was informative and funny. Got to taste four different wines and also their olive oil with bread. Price of the wines was very good too. Would recommend this trip, it was nice to see some of Rome's countryside too after being in the city.
Our guide Rebecca was very friendly and knowledgable about both the area and wine. The vineyard was lovely and the wine was excellent.
Rebecca was an epic tour guide, funny, very knowledgeable and had lots of great anecdotes, historical and otherwise. The area was beautiful and the wines were great. The winery owner/GM we met with was obviously very passionate about his wines. I don't know Italian, but it appeared that Rebecca did an awesome job translating what the owner was saying. Very enjoyable. Good times.
