The tour was great! I did not know there was other stuff besides the Sistine Chapel to see at the Vatican. I did tour the Vatican 2 years ago but only toured the Cathedral. This was a very good tour.
Wonderful...very nice! Loved it! Meeting at the office was a relief as other times there is difficulty finding your guides. Guide was very knowledgable and so friendly!
The tour guide was great. She was extremely knowledgeable and very nice. I believe she even stayed longer than her allotted time, which was over the 4 hour limit. She was very passionate about the art and engaged us with the moment of being near these rare and ancient art pieces. The night tour was smooth and free of large crowds. It's my understanding that during the day, the crowds are grueling. This tour is very long but full of information regarding all the art pieces in the museum. Thanks for a great tour.
I highly recommend this tour. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about the subject matter surrounding the museum, especially Sistine chapel ceiling paintings and Michelangelo. This tour was longer than I thought it would be as there is so much to see in the museum well worth the money.
It was awesome seeing the Vatican at night! I'm sure it wasn't as crowded either. I am so happy I did this one.
Lovely tour and a very good guide. Loved the fact that the museums were a lot less crowded and the guide was really good, passionate about her job, and it showed. I can highly recommend this tour!
Very good tour with a thorough description of the numerous pieces of art. Quite enjoyable.
The guide was amazing, she knew everything on her fingertips. It was money very well spent. My 12-year-old daughter was also amazed by the tour. If you book only one guided tour in Rome; I highly recommend this one.
this museum is so extensive and diversified it is a must see. AT night the crowds are less and you can enjoy the visit
Amazing sights to see ! A little long if your tired from the day but so worth seeing !
Our flight into Rome was delayed and we missed our Friday night tour so we ended up doing the morning tour instead. A big thank you to the tour company for being so kind and understanding!! The tour was absolutely great!
A wonderful experience with a very personable, helpful and knowledgeable guide. This was our second tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel on this trip. The Vatican is beautiful at night and the Sistine Chapel is wonderful without the crowds.
This tour was beautiful! It was my third time to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel and we saw so much more than the first two times (we were on a two-week guided bus tour the first two times.). Excellent choice of tour and guide1
Well worth the money to go after hours. So much less crowded and can enjoy the works inside a lot more.
excellent. the tour started on time and the guide was very knowledgeable.
I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was just great at giving us a very informative tour. She was just the best. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see the museum in a unique way.
Alfredo was FANTASTIC! He provided so much depth to the tour! We loved it!
Our tour of the Vatican Museum was awesome!! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, enjoyable and fun! She made the night for us!
Excellent..This was booked through Tour Rome tours.Maurico (guide) was excellent and had great knowledge of the Vatican. 3 hour walking tour went by very quickly. You could spend days in the various muesems but we got a very good over view on this tour..
Great tour. If you have limited time in Rome, this is the way to extend your travelling schedule. Fewer crowds in the evening and great opportunity to take night photos afterward. My biggest complaint is the meeting location was not easy to find at all. We met up with several frantic couples on the surrounding streets trying to find the meeting location. Even some locals were unable to help us find the street. Everyone we met up with were frantic that we would be late and miss the tour. In the end, we caught the tour and enjoyed it immensely. Great overall knowledge provided. You garner things from the tour guide that you would not otherwise learn on your own. Just the right amount of information provided. Just be sure to allow EXTRA TIME to find the meeting spot.
3 hr. tour turned into 1hr. 40 min. tour as we had 2 students who had to be organised and tour did'nt start 'til 7.50, We whistled through the Museum, but spent more than enough time in the Sistine Chapel and tour finished at 9.30. I like taking photo's but found myself chasing the guide after each photo stop. Missed seeing the Sistine Chapel on last visit in 1996 as it was closed, so I achieved my objective with this tour.
Highly recommend going and night and avoiding the crowds. We did cover a lot in a short period of time. I felt at times the tour was a bit lengthy.
An informative tour of statuary and art from the Vatican. Guide is art historian and very relatable. It was cooler to do this almost 3 hour tour in the evening during the Summer and much less crowded. Sistine chapel beautiful but smaller than we expected! Like that the tour was completely in our native language and not translated into 2 or 3 languages. Wish St Peter's Basilica had been included. Leave plenty of time to find the Office to start the tour!
