Villa D'Este was absolutely beautiful. Hadrian's Villa was fantastic. It would be more beneficial if the tour went a bit longer. The guide was great, and his knowledge of the area was also exceptional & informative. Worth doing.

A very good experience. Sometimes we did not spend enough time at some sights.

My daughter is an architecture major, so this was definitely worth the trip. The gardens were beautiful. There are hundreds of ornate fountains that are just beautiful. I could have stayed all day. Hadrian's Villa was also enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Based on the description of this tour, I expected more of a guide service at both locations - rather than an overview of each and then time alone to explore. In additional, the second part of the trip, to Hadrian's Villa, was not clearly identified as a trip to that place. The host indicated while at Villa D'Este that if we wanted to see some ruins we should be back at the bus in an hour. The words "Hadrian's Villa" were never mentioned. Thankfully, we were interested in the ruins and we went - we four were the only ones who did go.

Both Villa D'Este and Hadrian's Villa were beautiful and interesting sights, worthy of a visit. The tour felt somewhat rushed, though, as there was not much personal time allowed for walking around and exploring at either sight. Travelers should be offered more free time to make up for the time lost driving between locations. Also, as our group was very diverse, to accommodate all foreign languages we required two tour guides who, unfortunately, seemed more interested in joking around with each other than providing information to travelers. Only when the group was split in two and the tour guides led separately, did they act more professionally.

I was there years ago and the fountains were not as good. This trip they were fantastic, and our tour guide was very entertaining and informative. Didn't go to Hadrian's Villa.

Great destinations, and our guide was very personable and friendly. My only complaint is that we did not have enough time to really explore all of the sites. We only had one hour at Villa Adriana, barely enough to scrape the surface.

We had a good day out; it was nice to be out of the city.

This was a great way to visit Tivoli. We were dropped off at each site, which was much better than walking from a train station and then walking through the sites. Villa D'Este was more interesting than Hadrian's Villa.
