When we got off to a slow start and had late pick up I started to wish I hadn't booked this. Then we got stuck in traffic and the driver wasn't able to open the barriers on the autostrad. However, on arrival at Villa de estate and Hadrians villa I thought it was fantastic. I loved all the waterfalls and gardens, but felt it was slightly rushed, with no time for drink before we went to the ruins. The ruins were good, but I would have prefered more time at the beautiful villa . Overall, the trip was worth it, unike the Pizza trip which was a waste of money. A time of day with less traffic would have helped, but it is Rome. We had a great guide.

Not enough time to see both. I missed Hadrian's Villa because I wanted to see Villa D'Este properly. One more hour would make a difference.

Unfortunately it was very wet until we arrived at Villa d'Este. More time should be allocated to Villa d'Este as the gardens there are incredibly beautiful. On our return to Rome everyone was dropped off near their accommodation, which was very helpful.

Our guide was great. He knew so much about the ruins. It was amazing to be standing in front of something that stood there 2000 years ago. The gardens at Villa d'Este were beautiful. He gave us plenty of free time to take pictures and shop in the town. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.

The group was small, all was well organized. However, I would have preferred a guide with a bit more knowledge and enthusiasm. We were left at Villa d'Este and had to get back to the bus on our own. At Hadrian's Villa it was mostly, "There it is and now take a walk." Not up to Viator's high standards.

Our guide was very friendly. He spoke perfect English and some Chinese too. The sunset view from Villa d'Este is amazing and cannot be missed.

Both places visited were very interesting, though a certain fitness level is needed to fully enjoy both trips, as there is a long steep walk up to Hadrian's Villa and the Villa d' Este gardens are on a series of very steep terraces. Also I would say that in March this trip is a bit late in the day as the light was failing half way through the visits and it was dark on the way back to Rome.

Beautiful gardens and fountains, well worth an afternoon's outing.

Need to allow more time at the Villa d'Este, we were barely able to see 3 fountains. Inside we just walked through as fast as possible, could have been more enjoyable given the time. That said, the guide was outstanding we absolutely loved him.

The tour guide was very informative and fun. Because of the rain we could not visit the grounds at all so we were limited to the actual villa. We were given a set time to return to the meeting place and we had to wait in the rain an extra half hour for the bus to return. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the walk to the ruins at Hadrian's Villas, it was hard for my mom to climb. We should have been made aware of that.

I would have preferred more time in Hadrian's Villa than in the tourist trap of Trevi.

Unlike other day tours I have been on, minimal time was wasted on the bus, there was no 'stop' at a souvenir factory, and the guide was informative. Of course, both sites deserve a lot of time, and I found that the tour of the gardens at Tivoli was briefer than I would have liked.

Terrific excursion to Tivoli. Enjoyed Hadrian's Villa and also the Villa d'Este. Would have liked slightly more time to explore the gardens of the Villa d'Este. Unfortunately, we hit Rome traffic on the return to our hotel, which made for a long day. This tour might have worked out better for us had it been in the morning and not at 2 PM. Still, we were glad we got to see both sights.
