We had a smart and interesting guide. She was very knowledgeable.

I would have rated this tour four stars if it had included going inside the Colosseum. We'd have paid more for that. By the way, we thought the amount of walking was just right. Also, the guide was very good; we liked him a lot.

The tour was very good and enjoyable, right up to the trip back to our hotel.

It was worth going if only to get some nice photos of the Colosseum! There is a lot of time in the bus, that's my main complaint. But the upside is you get to see a lot of Rome's major attractions.

This was a bit of a let-down after the Rome by Night tour. A lot of repetition of sights. We tourists are not familiar with Rome and what it has to offer, so classical and imperial terms can be confusing. We enjoyed the hop-on, hop-off bus more, especially with the commentary in selected languages. I would advise tourists to bring their own headphones thought, as all the ones handed out were large earbuds that wouldn't stay in our ears.

The sights were wonderful and the bus was welcome after several days of walking tours. The only downside was that the guides had to speak in multiple languages, which made each comment quite short. Would have liked a little more information.

We left the tour at the Forum Romanum as we only got to look at it instead of walking over it.

It was a short on and off the bus tour, it says it includes the outside of the Colosseum, but they just leave you outside with no explanation and you are on your own. For what I saw with a Lonely Planet guide and bus fare I can do the same for much cheaper.

Disappointing. The guide was fine, but we only got to glimpse the Forum and Coliseum from afar, which was not clear from the advertisement. We spent the bulk of time at St. Paul outside of the wall, which was the least interesting part of the tour.

Tour guide was absolutely rude to the English speaking participants. Spent most of the tour listening in Spanish and then getting the very abbreviated English version.
