The tour was very good and enjoyable, right up to the trip back to our hotel.

We had an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed this tour immensely.

It was worth going if only to get some nice photos of the Colosseum! There is a lot of time in the bus, that's my main complaint. But the upside is you get to see a lot of Rome's major attractions.

We left the tour at the Forum Romanum as we only got to look at it instead of walking over it.

It was a short on and off the bus tour, it says it includes the outside of the Colosseum, but they just leave you outside with no explanation and you are on your own. For what I saw with a Lonely Planet guide and bus fare I can do the same for much cheaper.

Not recommended. The tour does not include entering the Colosseum, it cost another eleven Euros to enter, and about another half an hour in line.

Disappointing. The guide was fine, but we only got to glimpse the Forum and Coliseum from afar, which was not clear from the advertisement. We spent the bulk of time at St. Paul outside of the wall, which was the least interesting part of the tour.

Tour guide was absolutely rude to the English speaking participants. Spent most of the tour listening in Spanish and then getting the very abbreviated English version.
