Awesome tour!!!! Our guide was very knowledgeable. We did the independent tour as we wanted to go at our own pace as well as do things like climb the bell tower, see David, etc... It was cold and rainy all day in Florence, but still spectacular. No lines whatsoever - it was AWESOME. If you go in January, take rain boots. I just had tennis shoes on and i regretted it. My feet were soaked the entire time.
Another unforgettable trip with Viator! Our guide, Palmira, was friendly/informative and looked after as so well. We thoroughly enjoyed the 'high speed' train journey to Florence. A lovely 'touch' was the Italian breakfast when we arrived in Florence. We had a lot of free time in which to explore the beautiful city of Florence. One of the many high-lights of our 'Day in Florence' was our guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery - our guide's knowledge of the artworks was exceptional.
Very well organised, with friendly and helpful guides, especially as they spoke english.
Great to get to and from Florence for a day with some assistance. Glad I pre-booked the David or would not have been able to get in.
This was a great trip. We didn't have the full day tour as we went around Florence by ourselves however the guide did a fantastic job getting us there and back. We had a great experience and couldn't have done it without our guide Francesca. We would definitely recommend this trip as we had a great day!
Well organized, a guide was with you the entire day giving maps and meeting points. Guides were knowledgable and helpful the entire day. We did not do the upgrade because we wanted to go to the David Museum instead. The pick up and drop off at your hotel was a blessing.
This trip was awesome - a great way to see Florence in a day. The guides were excellent, there were 3 or 4 of them on the train ride with us, they were attentive and helpful. we did the upgraded tour of Florence with lunch - that was well worth it! We saw all the key points of Florence, had a wonderful lunch and had 2 hours of free time to shop and do what we want. Long day, tiring, but well worth it!
This place was fantastic! Unfortunately, it rained all day. We still had a nice time though.
Awesome, a don't miss and don't do it by yourself. Have the guided tour
Although we took the independent tour and were on our own after our arrival in Florence, the tour guides, Miriam and Claudia, were friendly, helpful, and entertaining. They answered any questions that we had and provided suggestions on what to see and how to get around. The train was clean and comfortable. Overall, a great day trip and a wonderful experience!
the tri;p was wonderful. The guide was considerate and knowledgeable and easy to understand. Our trip was the high speed train from Rome to Florence and it was also great to tour Uffizi. The Uffizi guide was also excellent. Thank you for a wonderful time and yes you can use my name to let others know about your service. We are going to California in the spring and will contact you when plans are arranged. Than ks again. rate is a 5

An amazing tour! Our tour guide to the museum, Marco, had a passion for the art and it's history that was incredible! Only downside to the tour was the transportation back to the hotel afterward. After the driver made two of the four stops, he went well out of his way to pick up some one else, possibly another employee (?) before making the last two stops. What should have taken no more than an hour to get back to the hotel took two hours. A sour ending to an incredible day in Florence.
The staff were so helpful and kept us informed every step of the way. Highly recommend.
Amazing! From high speed train travel to Uffizzi gallery. The tour guides were top shelf. Excellent all round.

It was a great one-day tour. Mirjam, the coordinator who took us from Rome to Florence and back, was a marvel of organization and experience. She deserves every ounce of your confidence. Marco, our tour guide in Florence, knew every detail of the area and all its history. He took us around town briefly pointing out significant details here and there. His tour of the Uffizi gallery was a maserpiece of pacing, hitting all the right highlights to provide exposure to the most representative and important art. We felt enlightened while having great fun, because all the details were taken care of. And we were not exhausted at the end of the long day. I think this is because the pacing was so masterful. We saw so much without feeling rushed to pushed to see it all. The train is the way to go, and this tour does it right.
