What You Can Expect
Start with a white wine served with ricotta cheese, and then enjoy a red wine paired with porchetta (spicy pork stuffed with herbs) and Roman coppiette (beef jerky). Finish up with another white wine accompanied by pecorino Romano, a hard, salty cheese. As you eat and drink, listen to your guide’s explanation of the differences between these wine varietals and types of cheese and meats. You’ll leave with a new appreciation of regional Italian cuisine.

Really great host and the venue is lovely. The wine was delicious and I was surprised at the amount of food they gave us! I wasn't expecting that much. The talk on the wine was really interesting and encouraged us to go to one of the cities in the region to check it out! Really great value for money!

Massimo was very informative and is able to speak well about all aspects of wine and wine making. Located in the center of the town and close to wonderful sites to visit. We stayed for dinner after the tasting and enjoyed it greatly. Massimo is a great host.

This tasting was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it. This restaurant is a hole in the wall off of the main streets of Rome so come prepared with good directions. It was just the two of us at the tasting and our guide/owner of the restaurant, Massimo, was very informative, engaging, and overall a sincerely nice guy. He gave us solid background and a deeper understanding of the different types of wines we tried and the regions where they came from. We enjoyed the wine, atmosphere, and service so much that we decided to stay for dinner, and were glad we did! We each ordered pasta dishes and they were both fantastic. My boyfriend prefers beer to wine, and Massimo paired him with a delicious craft beer to go with dinner. Very, very good!
