Lovely host, warm and friendly.
We had fun and tasted some great wine. Our Viennese guide was very informative
This tour was amazing!
Massimo was very informative and is able to speak well about all aspects of wine and wine making. Located in the center of the town and close to wonderful sites to visit. We stayed for dinner after the tasting and enjoyed it greatly. Massimo is a great host.
We had a great experience and learned much about Italian wine and regions that produce it.
This tasting was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it. This restaurant is a hole in the wall off of the main streets of Rome so come prepared with good directions. It was just the two of us at the tasting and our guide/owner of the restaurant, Massimo, was very informative, engaging, and overall a sincerely nice guy. He gave us solid background and a deeper understanding of the different types of wines we tried and the regions where they came from. We enjoyed the wine, atmosphere, and service so much that we decided to stay for dinner, and were glad we did! We each ordered pasta dishes and they were both fantastic. My boyfriend prefers beer to wine, and Massimo paired him with a delicious craft beer to go with dinner. Very, very good!
We did this tasting on our first evening in Rome. It was very low-key but fun. The wine bar where it's held is a neat little place tucked way on a side street (and we enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we went back there for wine on our own a few days later). The owner of the bar and the woman giving the class/tasting were both very friendly and knowledgeable. The wines and cheeses were delicious, as well!
Fantastic. Great wines, cheeses and company, held in a great wine bar in the back streets of Rome.
Ursula was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great way to spend an hour after sightseeing all day and before dinner. There were three Italian wines (2 whites and 1 red) and small food pairings. It takes place at a great little wine bar just off Campo dei Fiori. Recommended!
Everything we expected and more! The owner was passionate about his craft and very informative. The setting was small and intimate. The vino? Outstanding. Would do it again.
