Our tour was excellent. We picked up a tour guide in Naples and he was excellent and knowledgeable especially in Pompeii. The only negative was that we breezed through Naples with only a quick photo stop. But... if you are mostly there to see Pompeii, the tour was great.

Pompeii was amazing! I recommend to take this tour, really worth visiting. The local guide was really good, enjoyed every minute spend there :))

This was a good tour with a good tour guide of Naples and Pompey. We also saw from the highway some interesting sites like the Monte Casino Monastery and other interesting towns. Naples does not take much time to see the highlights and the two hours in Pompeii, we all agreed was about right. Very interesting, but all we talked to thought that with a good guide, two hours was about right.
I have only one gripe and that is the tour company's original bus from Rome had no legroom for normal sized males. I noticed that with all the couples, the man ended up moving to the aisle seat so he could put his legs in the aisle. Very uncomfortable. Our bus broke down (which happens) and the one out of Naples that replaced our bus was much more comfortable, but that original bus out of Rome was the most uncomfortable tour bus we were on in Italy. Otherwise this makes a great side trip from Rome.

This was a great time....but it took all day....bring your own water or drinks and snacks as the bus will stop at two very expensive 7/11 type stores and it is very highly priced....wonderful time in Pompeii though...our tour guide was awesome!

This tour was a highlight of my visit to Rome - the Bay of Naples is beautiful, and wandering the site of Pompeii was a lesson in history. Both guides (Mara all day, Vittorio in Pompeii) were informative, approachable and helpful. This is a long tour (about 13 hours in total) but the day just flew by! Lunch, which was included (except drinks), was fresh and delicious, and there was plenty of it - too much!! 2 hours in Pompeii was perfect - we weren't rushed, and saw/learned all that we needed to - I would definitely recommend this tour.

Dark Rome again came out tops - the guide in Pompeii - Franco was stupendous - he was such a delight to have and his age was able to explain everything. His ability to speak 5 languages meant that we had so many different people on the tour and all had a good time.

My partner and Daughter came back from Rome raving about the tour. The coach picked them up from hotel on time, they said the meal they received on the tour was great, and the pick of the tour was the guide and the sites when we go back we will be using your'e service. Thanks for making a memorable trip for both of them.

The weather was a little cold and diminished the experience particularly in Naples. However the meal in Pompeii was okay and the tour of the ruins of Pompeii were excellent. The guides were outstanding as well as the bus driver. If there was a downside their were children who were not entirely under adult control. Tour should be limited to children of a certain age.

This was my 16 year old son's favorite tour. He really learned so much from our guide. Our lunch was exceptional! Worth every cent.

Trip left from central Rome location on a very comfortable tour bus. Local guide gave a very informative narration on way to Naples. Brief bus tour of Naples where we picked up tour guide for Pompeii (a charming, knowledgable and humorous 86 yr old gentleman). After a 3 course meal in New Pompeii, we embarked on a leisurely 2 hr walking tour of Pompeii. Bus made several stops for snacks and bathroom breaks. Food was not allowed on bus. Overall, trip was well worth the money.
