Excellent tour of Pompeii.

Definitely a trip worth doing. Pompeii is amazing and you can imagine what it must have been like to live in ancient Rome. It is a long day and we only ended up spending 2 hours in Pompeii, however, the guide we had was excellent and we probably learned more in the 2 hours we spent there than we would have learned if we had spent the whole day there wandering around ourselves. It was nice to go to Naples to see a different city, however, the cameo factory was a bit of a waste of time. Luckily everyone on our coach didn't spend too long looking around so we were able to get on our way quickly. Lunch was nice, however, we didn't get a choice of what to eat. It would be better if you had some choice even if it was limited, I understand that we were on a tight schedule but surely it doesn't take long to cook pizza and pasta. Overall an excellent trip and worth doing as an organised tour rather than on your own. The only thing that spoilt the day was that our camera broke on the bus on the way to Pompeii and we had to buy disposable ones to use.

Pompeii blows the mind! We stopped in Naples to pickup our local guide - total knowledge & enthusiasm. The stop in Naples was OK - just to stretch the legs. En route to Pompeii you "must" stop at a cheesy factory outlet cameos. This wasted time. Pompeii is a must!

The trip was comfortable and as we were a small group we were manageable. The guides in the bus and at the Naples-Pompeii site were very good. The only thing that was not so nice was the food.

The tour guides were excellent and the tour was great! We especially enjoyed seeing Pompeii first hand after decades of just reading about it. It was awe inspiring.

It was just lovely. Personally I could spend all day at Pompeii, but our guide was wonderful. We also enjoyed getting to see some of the sights of Naples. This trip has been a long time coming, and it's still surreal to know what we saw! Now I desperately want to actually climb Mt. Vesuvius!

Great tour, good guides. Good timing. We didn't really visit Naples, just drove past and saw the sights, 15 minutes max. Doesn't matter, Pompeii was absolutely great. One thing destroyed the whole cheer and great day. We had an elderly Japanese women with us; she didn't speak English or Italian. Right at the end before we all hopped on the bus, she disappeared. The guides looked for her on the track for about 10 minutes, and then we left without her. In my opinion, they should have looked for her bit longer, considering her age and abilities - she walked with cane. Dreadful to imagine what she was doing left on her own in Pompeii.

We loved the tour very much. Although we would prefer to see some of the other sites as well, but the time got in Pompeii does not cover that. The tour guide is very knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely recommend this trip to other travellers.

This was a well-organized trip with a guide who was friendly and knowledgeable. We had just enough time in Naples and plenty of time to see and experience everything in Pompeii, too. I was glad that we did not rush through Pompeii instead, our guide took us on a 2-hour exploration of the city, including all of the key places. This trip was a great value.
