Trying to enjoy the wonders of Pompeii in the heat of August was very difficult. However, our guide was informative and I was glad for the experience. The stop in Naples was fun and the meal was good.

This was a great tour. I didn't care much for the stop at the cameo factory--seemed like a sales pitch--but Pompeii was beautiful, and having a tour guide made the trip MUCH better than doing it on your own. There were a lot of people in the group, and it was nearly impossible to hear if you weren't close to the guide, so keep up.

My boyfriend and I had a great time and learned a lot. Everything is so old, and that just amazed me. I was interested in seeing Pompeii because I had heard about the eruption at some point in my life, during school I think. It was very cool.

The guide was talking in English and Italian and it was difficult to know when to stay close and listen. It would have been easier if it was a single language and not so rushed. Coach was good. Met some interesting people on the tour. Glad we did it.

More time in Pompeii. Enjoyed the meal in Pompeii.

Our tour guide was fantastic! The only thing I didn't like was that the tour group was bigger than I would have liked, and there was a lot of pushing and shoving to be able to see everything. Still, it was very interesting though, and if you have time, I definitely recommend it!

The trip was fine; however, the guide was boring and hard to hear.

Really enjoyed the trip, the stops and the shopping opportunities. The Naples tour was nice, too. Wish we could have seen more of Pompeii, as we've seen in books, but the whole tour was really great.

The tour guide was wonderful! She was very informative and knowledgeable. She explained the site very well. My major disappointment with the trip was that I was not aware that it was a bilingual tour. I felt like we didn't get to cover as much ground as we could have and we could have gotten more information without all the translating. In Pompeii, it was definitely worth taking a guided day tour, and next time I would make sure it was entirely in English before booking. English speaking people on the tour were in the minority.

The tour was awesome, but the lunch was a rip-off.

It was a very interesting tour. The only problem was that the bus was absolutely packed. It would not be a problem for a short tour but this is the 13.5 hour tour.
