Our tour guides were very knowledgeable. Pompeii was really incredible! I had no expectations on Pompeii, and it is just so impressive. We also climbed Mount Vesuvius. Never thought that I would be climbing a volcano when I went to Italy and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. However, if you go - be sure to take the walking stick.
We were so happy that we'd booked this tour by the time the day was over. Our guide in Pompeii was so knowledgable about the site and really made our experience memorable. Make sure you wear good shoes if you plan to walk up to the top of Vesuvius. Our guide for the day was equally kind and helpful. The only thing lacking was our lunch, which was just mediocre. But who expects a gourmet meal on a bus tour. I'd recommend this trip to anyone wanting to travel from Rome for the day. You'll be tired at the end of the day, but It'll be worth it.
Excellent value for your money. The tour guide spoke very clear English, was easy to understand, and everything was included in the price. Pizza lunch was terrific as were all the tours included (Vesuvius, Pompeii..).
We had such a fantastic day and could not have done this on our own. Our guide in Pompeii was very passionate about his work and the excavations accomplished in Pompeii. Lunch was wonderful and the restaurant was really lovely. We were both so glad we could experience Pompeii and Vesuvius so hassle free and the lunch was a real bonus. Really recommend this tour.
A long, but wonderful day, spent with great guides. More time in Pompeii would have been great, but it's really far from Rome, so that's expected. Learned a lot, but was entertained too. Sarah and Ashley did a great job of wrangling the crew and keeping us relatively on time

Absolutely fabulous! We would highly recommend this tour. It went like a well oiled machine. The guides were so organised and they were so informative, more like history teachers. The local guide was fantastic as well. This tour was a highlight for us. You'd be crazy to miss this tour.
Here again our tour guide both on the bus and at Pompeii were outstanding. Loved being there and leaving about the past. Great day.
The tour guide on the bus and at Pompeii were great and Pompeii was of course awesome. The tour guide's microphone didn't work well so I couldn't always hear what was being said through my headset but that didn't bother me.
Climbing up Vesuvius was also great hough it was cloudy way up there on the day I went so the view wasn't as spectacular as I'd have liked. Still, really cool though.

Our guide was cheery and hospitable throughout our trip! She ensured that all our needs were met where possible and this made our journey more pleasant. She was also knowledgeable on topics touching Italy and even extended her advice on recommendations for other local highlights in Rome, including spots for food. Along with an equally well-versed guide for our Pompeii leg, the trip was well conveyed in English and we all left tired but happy campers. Kudos!

Our experience was really good. Our guides were great, they not only talk about Pompeii and Vesuvius but about the history of Rome and Italy. They answer all of our questions. The bus driver was amazing, driving on the norrow streets up to Vesuvius. The pizza lunch was ready and good. Returning to Rome, our guides gave all the tourist information about other places to see and how to get there. It was the best trip while in Rome.
