It was a humbling moment for me. I've learned a lot from this tour. I saw the Vesuvius in all her glory. It was a good day. Our guides, Sara (Zara?) and Enrico, were very competent and friendly. They never failed to give us new information concerning the places we visited. I would do it again surely

The tour was very well organised from the splittling of the large group into two smaller groups. The two guides were very friendly and helpful. The day was clear and sunny which made the scenery spectacular. The guide at Pompeii was informative and friendly. The trip to the National Archeological Museum of Pompeii in Naples was a special highlight. It should be a more prominent features as the museum it self was very quiet and made the viewing of the artifcast that more enjoyable. Many thanks for a great day.

Dark Rome Tours was the best touring company. Our tour guide, Roberto, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He made a very long day fact filled and enjoyable. Our local guide in Pompeii was also good.

This trip was very well organized, our tour guide Sarah (through Dark Rome tours) and local guide in Pompeii were excellent. This was a great day trip from Rome. We highly recommend it for anyone interested in history.

The water flooded in torrents down the streets of Pompei. And we considered ourselves lucky we were to have been there at just that time! - What more can one say about enjoying a tour?
Giavanna is incredible. Realizing that one of us had walking challenges, she was at the bottom of the bus staircase at every stop (and I noticed her quietly being next to us when we walked around Pompei). I asked her an accordion music store and she called a family member for a recommendation!

This was my second visit to Italy, but first to Pompeii and Pompeii was the highlight of this trip. Our guide, Roberto, definitely made the tour an enjoyable and informative trip. He answered everyone's questions and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were filled with lots of information. It's mind boggling to see the buildings these ancient people lived in and to hear the details of what their day to day life may have been like. Initially, I was disappointed that we were unable to visit Mt. Vesuvious due to the time of year we were there, but the Archaeological Museum in Naples ended up being very interesting. This is a tour I would highly recommend!!

A great trip, with excellent guides. The crowds in Pompeii, we surmise, have made it necessary to keep most of the tour to street level, with the famous houses no longer open to tourists, as they were years ago. Even so, there were plenty of interesting moments.

An awesome place. One that cannot be fully appreciated in a day. This tour would be a great launching pad to a self guided several day trip as there is so much to cover. Steffano was thorough and most knowledgable about "everything" Vesuvius related! I would do this tour again upon return. Amazing!

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! The guides were informative and fun and tried to get everyone involved which created a lovely group atmosphere. The trek up Versuvius was well worth it and I could have spent a whole day exploring Pompeii with our guide William. William was such a gem. He had a great sense of humour and was a real highlight of the trip. Overall I would strongly recommend this to anyone who has a day to spare in Rome. Make the effort - it was amazing!!!!

Stefano and Sara were both very knowledgeable and were helpful guides.
Antonio was friendly and a great driver. Very smooth and still can't believe how he could get that bus through all those tight streets! would have liked more time in Pompeii. Expected more than Pizza for lunch for the price.

We had a really great time, despite the wet weather. Roberto was very entertaining and had so much knowledge to share, which he did in a very fun way.

Really well organised and an excellent combination of time spent at Pompeii, then a trip into the Naples Archeological Museum, where all the mosaics and statuary from Pompeii was taken when it was originally excavated. Geovanna, who led the tour, made sure we made the best use of our time.
