This was a wonderful day. Our driver/guide was beyond exceptional, knowledgeable, helpful, funny and welcoming. While this is a LONG day it is a great way to get a high level overview of Amalfi and Pompeii.
Amalfi coast was amasing and beautiful. Pompeii was worth the long trip. Was tiring but well worth the full day

This day trip was the highlight of a recent trip to Rome. Comfortable vehicle, gracious and knowledgeable guide (Andrew), and they secured a wonderful guide for us at Pompeii (Gaetani). The leisurely lunch in Positano was a special treat. I booked this tour operator because everyone gave them five stars on all their tours, and they certainly didn't disappoint. Yes, it's a long (14-hr.) day, but well worth it. I will book this operator for future tourist in Italy.

My wife and I had a wonderful time on this tour! It was a long day, but our driver, Marcella, and Pompeii guide, Gaetano, made for a wonderful day. The tour in Pompeii was very informative and interesting. Marcella was a master driver in Rome and along the Almafi Coast, along with being humorous and friendly. Lunch on the beach in Positano was the icing on the cake! We would highly recommend this tour for a day out of Rome!
This was a great way to see the Almalfi coast and Pompeii in one day. I would definitely recommend the tour as it would have been much more complicated to arrange this day trip on my own. We had a great driver, our guide was good and gave us an excellent tour through Pompeii. Note that you will spend about an hour in Amalfi, 2 hours in Positano and 2 hours in Pompeii. Make sure you are ready for your pick up in the morning--we were the first to be picked up and our driver arrived at 6:30am. We were glad to have a local to drive us on these narrow "Mamma Mia" roads. The views were amazing. Although highly recommended, I was not as impressed with the Chez Black. Also, you must pay cash for your Pompeii tour, no credit cards accepted.
An excellent tour. The scenery is fabulous and for any visit to Italy this is a must see. The lunch was excellent in a fabulous location. The guide was very informative and extremely knowledgeable. The only slight downside was the use of radios between three minibuses for commentary didn't work properly on the way down to Amalfi.
The Pompie portion of the trip was excellent with an extremely knpwledgeable local guide with a real passion for his work.
This 14 hour van tour including visits to small towns along the Amalfi coast, picture taking stops and a tour of the ancient buried city of Pompei was simply amazing and worth every euro!!
This was def. worth the money tour. Our tour guide was really great - he made stops at nice locations for us to take the pictures. Roads were very curvey but he was a great driver. He has been doing this tour for a long time so very well expreinced.
Positano and Amalfi was great - whoever likes natural beauty this is the tour for you!
Scenery was beautiful. Guide was very knowledgeable. We were under the impression that there would be a guide in our van and instead there were 3 vans that caravaned and the guide was in another van and we had to listen to the guide by CB radio which did not work at all at first and worked a little better later. For the money we should have had a guide in the van. It was a nice tour though.

I had the best time on this trip. Our tour guide and driver were AMAZING!! He was super informative in regards to Pompeii, Amalfi and Positano. Seeing Pompeii was so amazing. I loved our tour guide for that part of the tour because you could tell that he had so much passion for his job and what he had to say about the history behind Pompeii. The Amalfi and Positano part of the trip was awesome. It was so beautiful. We were able to have an amazing lunch at this place called Chez Black. The food was so good. And we were able to go to the Limoncello factory while in Amalfi and taste some of it. That was so neat. And i have never seen lemons so big, they were the size of a grapefruit. Overall, I would highly recommend this trip, it is worth every penny. And I hope you get Gulio as your guide, he was so much fun!!
This was a long trip but amazing and best day trip I ever spent. The driver was courteous and very much on schedule. I would do it again at a drop of a hat. I highly recommend this trip!!
