We loved the trip especially our tour guide for Pompeii. We had the best tour guide in all of Pompeii. What a pleasant surprise. Our driver was a good driver but I would have been more comfortable if he would have not talked on his cell phone while we were driving the very narrow and winding roads on the Amalfi coast. He took us to a very nice restaurant. We weren't able to go on the boat tour due to the conditions. It was a long day but very enjoyable.

Our best tour. The guide called ahead to make sure it was not going to be too crowed at each stop.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Pompeii is a great place to visit and the Amalfi Coast was the most beautiful place we saw in Italy. The small group and excellent guides made it even better.

My tour of Pompeii and the Amalfi coast was wonderful! I was traveling with my husband and three teenagers. They picked us up at our hotel and we drove to Pompeii in a spacious, air-conditioned bus with two other families. Our tour guide at Pompeii was very knowledgeable and informative. We were glad we had umbrellas for shade and good walking shoes! From there, we went to Positano and Amalfi and had a truly wonderful day. We had lots of time to eat and shop and enjoy the scenery. The whole day was well orchestrated and there were no problems at all. The guide who was with us throughout the day was funny and pleasant and we all very much enjoyed him. He gave us a good restaurant recommendation for our last night in Rome, and then he and his girlfriend showed up to join us! Overall, I would highly recommend his tour for adults or families with older children. It was fantastic!

We were fortunate to have almost a private tour because there were only four people on this day. Our tour guide was fantastic. He took us to places that we would not have known to go, and added his special touches such as a wonderful lunch looking out at the ocean. Along with that wonderful food and wine, the tour to Pompeii was also wonderful. The tour guide was fabulous and made sure we were able to see the most important things within our time frame. The only thing about the tour is that it should have been made more clear that Pompeii is a walking tour and that it is not something you are just driving by. It was well worth it in the end. We would gladly go on this tour again if ever in Rome or Italy again.

The trip to Amalfi, Positano and Pompeii was very good. There were stunning views, great boat trip, interesting sites and an informative guide and under normal circumstances I would give it four stars, however it was spoiled by the driver's inattention to his driving and the safety of his passengers. His constant talking on the telephone, texting of messages flicking through papers while in the fast lane was very disconcerting.

This tour is great if you don't have enough time to explore Southern Italy yourself as it covers a lot in one day. So it's a great way to see the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii from Rome, it was a long day but was worth it.

We started out with bad weather, but the guide was able to move things around and we still got to see everything on the itinerary. Amalfi, Positano and Pompeii are must-dos!

We had a fabulous trip, and took in a lot of places in one day. The only thing that was mildly disappointing was the driver's constant mobile phone conversations!

The trip was great and the scenery was beautiful, but we had a few issues with our tour directors. While eating at a relatively pricey restaurant in Positano (which they picked), the group was told that we missed our ferry to Amalfi town and we would have to pay 10 euros EACH for transportation or take the van and possibly not make it into Pompeii on time. However, my wife and I were sitting at a far end table and didn't get this message until it was time to get into a little speedboat. We thought we were taking this little boat to the ferry, and only then were we told we owed the driver 20 euros. After another couple explained to us what had happened at lunch and we obliged and paid the guy his money only to find out later that we were the ONLY couple that had to pay. This is absolutely ridiculous, as it was not our fault we missed the ferry. After already paying $500 for the trip, it was absolutely absurd to make us pay more money! My husband did eventually pull the tour guide aside and complained, and a couple of hours later he gave us back our money. Nonetheless, it's the pure principle of the matter; we feel they were attempting to rip us off. Other couples on our trip were angry and felt deceived. All of that aside, it was a beautiful trip; and let's just say the van ride back to Rome was very quiet.

This was convenient in that it offered hotel pick up. That was a tremendous help. It was a tour with 8 people, which is a nice number. The tour was of Pompeii was great. I loved the Amalfi Coast, and lunch was delightful and reasonably priced. I would have liked to have a few more picture moments on the drive up. The weather was not cooperative and we were not able to take the boat tour.

We had a great time, and our Pompeii Tour guide Gaetano was extremely knowledgeable. Positano was beautiful, and we enjoyed the boat ride to Amalfi. We picked our own restuarant for lunch and ate with other tour members. We had a long but comfortable van ride back to our hotel.

This trip is spectacular, however, expect a full day 15 hours. We meet a great group of people and had a spectacular time. Positano was our stop for lunch, and it had amazing views. Food was great, too. Have fun!

This tour was very good; however, it should be called Amalfi Coast day trip with a brief stop at Pompeii. We were only at Pompeii for one and a half hours, which is nothing if you haven't been before. My heart still aches that we didn't have more time to walk around the ancient city. We only had time for some highlights, and although it was good it was not long enough. The Amalfi Coast and Positano were beautiful. I would have preferred to make this two separate tours. It was also a very long day, running over fifteen hours.
