Tina and I waiting outside the door for the Vatican Guards to come along. We were the only people there. It's completely different during the day with thousand of people. The gelato bar directly across the road was open so we ordered Champagne and Gelato before we started the tour. Perfecto!

We stopped to learn more about the sculptures! Our guide was amazing and she knew so much. She wrote a thesis and studied in the Vatican Library. She was a wealth of knowledge.
