Hercules

I loved the impressive bronze statue of Hercules. It's hard to appreciate its size unless you're standing in this room. It is one of the last bronze statues left as most were melted down and re-used. In the middle of the room is an amazing red porphyry basin! It was Nero's bath tub and it is a really rich deep red. Our guide told us it was extremely rare and more expensive than gold.
