This one was more of a "cultural and historical" walk through Rome, although we did see some amazing Caravaggio's. Our guide, Inger, took us through some quieter, more intimate streets of Rome that we would never have discovered on our own.

We are Caravaggio fans and saw some Caravaggios we might otherwise have missed. Having the tour in late afternoon/early evening is a great idea, not just because getting wine and some excellent cheese and other goodies was fun and pleasant, but also because it was a good way in to experiencing some places in the city we might otherwise have missed. Our guide's experience living in the city, what she had to say about how it was like and different from living in an American city, was really interesting. I think a longer tour, with more Caravaggios, would be a great addition, but this one was excellent.

This was a very enjoyable short tour, that was very different than the usual touristy group thing. The Caravaggio paintings are great and it's wonderful to see them in the church and discuss them with someone knowledgeable. The wine tastings were wonderful too.
