The view of Castelgandolfo was from a distance and while traveling; it would have been nice to at least get some pictures!

We did not actually visit any castles on this tour; the name is very misleading. But the bus drive was worth it to actually see outside of Rome proper. Plus, the quaint town with the wine tasting was charming.

The tour was beautiful and the tour guide was great. But practically the whole tour took place on the bus. You only get out of the bus at two places. The only castle you will be able to see when the bus stops is the Frascati Castle. But do not expect to tour it, you can only see it from a distance. So I feel like the name of this tour is misleading because three of these castles you will just drive by and do not blink because you may miss them. I think it was a little to pricey for the amount of stuff you will see from the bus.

This was OK. I would have liked to see the insides of the castles. We only drove by or saw them from a distance. I went on a tour to Tuscany, and we got to see the inside of a castle on that tour. We tasted wine, and it was great.

This tour was nice and relaxing. However, I felt most of the tour was experienced from the bus. I had anticipated being able to actually stop at some of the places highlighted. It would have been nice to actually tour some Roman Castles. However, if you are looking for a nice jaunt away from the bustling city of Rome, then this is a good tour.

We left at slightly late and were dropped off near Piazza Spagna. Trip was OK to see a bit of countryside, what we should have done was just go by train or bus and explore independently. Both stop offs were very short, definitely do not take up the offer to have ice cream on the first stop at the Castel Gandolfo lake, you won't even get time to take a spoonful unless you want to take it on the coach. The stop in Frascati is about 30 mins but you only walk across the village into what seems to be a pub rather than the usual bar and get a glass of very bad white wine and a very short talk about the area. It was OK, maybe not worth the money. Driver and guide were very pleasant and amenable.

Did not realize this would be a drive-by tour with castle viewing in the distance. Still, it was nice to get out of the city. Frascati was lovely.

We thought we would see more castles up close. We saw everything from the tour bus as we passed by! The tour guide himself was very kind, humorous, and knowledgeable, but it just was not what we expected from a three-hour tour.

This was a good tour; however, it would have been better if we could have stopped more near the Swiss Guard village verses at the bottom of the mountain. Also, the wine at the tasting was not good.

We were very disappointed with this tour. We didn't get to see much, as the majority of time was spent on the bus. We got to walk around for 20 minutes after the wine tasting, which was not good at all, but there was not much to see or do.

Very disappointed with the tour. The tour was rushed, very little information received from the tour guide. No time to enjoy the villages we saw, we just drove past them at high speed.

This is a bus tour that doesn't include many castles. There was a nice wine tasting in Frascati, but no actual tour of a castle.

The guide was not good, was done simultaneously with another language group. The wine tasting was done in an inappropriate place, was not enjoyable.
