Our driver was exactly where we were told he would be upon our arrival at Fiumicino Airport in Rome. Since this was our first travel experience to Europe, I was a little nervous about how everything would go, so seeing your driver with my name on display when we entered the Arrivals Hall really boosted my confidence and got our vacation off on the right foot. Great job Viator, we will definitely use your service again!

It was exactly what we hoped for when we booked it. The vehicle was brand new and the driver was well presented and polite. He was waiting at the airport with our name held high so it was easy to find him. Luckily, we remembered to ring and confirm the transfer back from the hotel to the airport as we had changed our hotel at the last minute and the office had the original hotel name but again, on the return journey the driver was very prompt and we had a safe, easy journey both ways. No looking for taxis, buses, trains, etc. with heavy luggage to carry.

We booked a private transfer thinking it would be much easier than trying to arrange transport after we arrived as neither of us speak Italian and we were not due to arrive in Rome until late evening. Unfortunately, our plane was significantly delayed and instead of arriving at 22.30, we arrived at 01.00. We had long since given up expecting our driver to be there, so imagine our surprise and delight when we finally made it to the arrivals hall at 01.30 to find a man holding up a board with our name on it. Without further ado, he took our bags and escorted us out to the car. We were safely in our hotel just after 2am. We never expected the driver to wait so long for us, particularly at that time of night. We were so grateful and so relieved.

We arrived at the airport and had our pleasant driver waiting for us. With little effort, we got to our hotel via the comfort of an air conditioned car. This was just what we needed after a long flight.
