It was the best start to three fantastic days in Rome. I knew in advance that I would be too tired to try to navigate the public transport system into Rome, with my 9-year-old daughter, after a long flight from California. Our flight was delayed (nearly two hours), but our trusty driver was there waiting for us when we arrived. The car was beautiful, comfortable and clean, our driver knew where he was going, and I did not have to worry about a thing. Next time I fly into Rome, I'll do exactly the same thing and I'll check if Viator provides services at any of my other European destinations in the future.

It was great to have someone waiting for you at the airport, especially after such a long trip. The driver wasn't very talkative, though, and it would have been nice to be greeted by a cheerful person. It also would have been helpful for the driver to maybe point out some sights throughout the ride.

There was a man waiting for us holding a sign with our last name and hotel so he was easy to identify. He was parked right outside so we were out of the airport quickly. It may have cost more than a taxi since our hotel was close to the airport, but it was easier than hailing a cab and explaining where to go.
