This is the best way to see Rome, although it can be a bit chilly. We did a full circuit first and then decided where to get off next.

The bus stopped at good locations and the staff was friendly. The double decker sure beat taking the city bus. It was less crowded and stopped at all the tourist spots. Would recommend for friends and family going to Rome.

Great way to see Rome. Especially if the sun is shining all day. Once you've got the hang of of the commentary channel (3 for English), it's perfect. Also, the DVD at 6 euros is a great value.

The hop on hop off bus is the best deal in all of Rome. I saw almost everything I wanted to see in a short period of time. The stops were clearly marked, and the audio guides were excellent. I hardly ever had to wait for a bus.

The hop on hop off bus tour in Rome was great; it was very reliable, punctual and professionally operated. Take your emailed ticket confirmation to the bus, get it validated, and you are away! We saw everything Rome has to offer in two days without the hassle of trying to use public transport and negotiate unfamiliar territory. Once we had oriented ourselves we felt confident to go off and explore by ourselves.
