We only had the one day in Rome so this was the best way to see it in a short space of time. Excellent commentary and service.

This is absolutely the best way to see everything in such a short time. It was a great experience!!!!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our bus-top tour! We'd spent 6 fantastic hours at the Vatican, and our feet were exhausted, so it was a great way to tour Rome. We hopped on with no intention of hopping off! Choosing the last trip of the day, we sat on the top deck taking tons of photos of everything with great sunset and pre-dusk lighting. Our photos are spectacular! The sights were great, as was the historical commentary...sound was clear and volume perfect. It was still quite warm that time of evening, but riding on top resulted in a luxuriously pleasant breeze! We only had one day to spend in Rome and definitely got the most "bang for our buck". Next time we'll take the same bus, hopping OFF and ON, and get a richer, more in-depth experience. Thank you SO much, Viator!

Awesome! Our first time to Rome, and I would do it again if we went back. Easy, lots of stops at the right places, but found it finished a little earlier then I would have liked. We ended up training it home. The trains are super easy too!! We were there in the "off" season, so we always were able to get a seat easily. I'm sure it may be a different story in peak times!

I took the bus on three different occasions. Each time the driver took a different route. I was really able to see much more of the city and its highlights than if the bus took the same route each time.

Very good experience, just perfect! You can see everything, and the stops are very near to the attractions, almost right outside!

The 48 hour ticket with the River Cruise was well worth it as the metro does not run through central Rome. We used the bus to visit all the places we wanted to see over the two days. The cruise was a little disappointing, but the bus tour and the audio were excellent.

Rome is a very easy city to get around. The bus tour just makes it easier.

The only way, and I can't emphasize this enough, the only way to see a city like Rome, Paris, or London is by double decker bus. I just got back from all three. The only regret I have is not getting a double decker pass for all three cities. It makes life so much easier. In any of these cities, transportation can be hard to figure out. Taxis rip you off, and the trains and buses can be hard to figure out, and even if you do it's a pain to go by their schedules. So if you're traveling to any of these cities, get a double decker pass. If you don't, it will make for a lot more walking, more money on taxis, and frustration waiting for buses and trains.

Our entire family loved this. We ended up doing the full loop two times just so we could see all the sights and take lots of pictures. Will definitely do the hop on and hop off in other cities!

A wonderful way to scope out the city the first day. We stayed on the bus the whole trip around, and then did it again hopping off and on.
