Spectacular trip!! Would recommend to everyone young and old!! Feet were sore and tired from all the Rome walking so would tell you to give yoiur pigs a rest for a bit before the segway tour as you use your feet to lean forward and backwards to go and stop. Was a real WINNER!!!
Working with the people at Viator was a real pleasure, prompt attention by a nice person on the phone for a time sensitive issue was really appreciated and saved the day. The Segway tour was a must for anyone looking for fun in Rome!!!!!! brings the family together and everyone thought it was the best part of five days in Rome!! age 12 to 70
The best tour I have ever done. Brilliant n and informative. Without question the highlight of all the tours I did in Rome. Do the tour early as it will give you great bearings for your time in Rome and will give you a taster for the days to come. DO THIS TOUR - YOU'LL BE GRATEFUL.
Comes close to being the best thing I've ever done in my 68year-old life. Rome by night is much better than Rome by day and we saw EVERYTHING!!. I thought that we might just go around a block or two due to Rome's traffic but we travelled up minor roads and laneways with diners saluting us with their wine glasses. Very convivial with strangers calling out Good luck in many languages. Our guide was super informative with a dry sense of humour that kept us smilling as we rolled along. Absolute bliss, please don't miss out.
Brilliant, Brilliant!!! did it with my sister and my mom who is 56yrs old and was scared at first once the tour guide helped for not even 5 min, she was a pro on it... wish we could have done all our tours on it... fun, informative don't miss out on doing this...
Bought this tour as a surprise gift for my boyfriend. We had a great time! Saw all the major sights of Rome by night, which was just magical. Marco (the guide) was informative and very funny, and definitely made the trip a memorable one. The segways are easy to use but I was pleased to have use of a helmet as some of the tour requires negotiating traffic!
Only a couple of negatives from my point of view: Due to other members of our tour group being late, we didn't get as much time to practice on the segways as I would've liked before heading out into Rome. Because of this, I think I was far more nervous about negotiating traffic than I would have otherwise been. I'm also not sure if I would like to take a child on this tour- I think I'd be very concerned about the potential for an accident (although I'm a perpetual worrier, so if you're a relaxed parent then I'm sure it wouldn't bother you!)
Nevertheless, this is a fantastic experience and we would definitely do it again!! A great way to see the highlights of Rome quickly- we then were able to work put where we wanted to revisit at our leisure during the rest of our holiday.
