My wife and I had a lot of fun. Took 20 minutes to learn. Hard to find Segway shop, two blocks from Colosseum. Six people in tour was perfect. Our best tour of our trip. I am 245 lbs and had no problem. You go up hills and down hills with no problem.

This tour was fabulous! The Segways are so much fun and allow you to get to places you wouldn't otherwise see. You must see the view of Rome from the orange garden! We definitely recommend this tour!

My favorite part of a whole week in Rome! It's run by a great company, and our host was even better. We spent a good amount of time getting the party of 6 comfortable with the Segways, not nearly as difficult as you would think, and then spent 3 hours exploring the area. We traveled an estimated 8 miles and had some unusual things as well as the key sites pointed out to us. If we were in Rome any longer, I would have done it again. I want a Segway now. I enjoyed it so much, I was happy to tip for the first time in 3 years! I would highly recommend - regardless of age.

The Segway tour was, by far, the best part of our trip to Italy. Our guide was very patient with us and made us feel comfortable on our Segways. He was also very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited, and he was just a lot of fun. A must-do tour when you visit Rome. I am now checking out Segway tours here in the U.S.

The family had a great time, and the guide was excellent. He really enjoyed what he was doing. He even pulled out a book to help us visualize the ruins. We got to see so much of Rome in the 3 hour tour that would have taken much longer on foot. We even saw things that we most likely would not have seen if it wasn't for this tour. The children were asking for Segways for Christmas, they enjoyed them so much. We would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Rome. By the way, our children were 11 and 12, both just under 100 lbs, and still were able to ride and maneuver the Segways like pros. The Segways are really easy to ride once you get the hang of them, which takes about one or two minutes. Don't miss out on this great tour!

We were very impressed with our guide, who spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about everything we were seeing. The Segway itself was an awesome experience, very easy to use and get used to. All in all, a great way to see ancient Rome!

A must do! Although we were jet lagged, it's a great thing to do on the first day. Gives you an excellent idea of where everything is in the city! Guide was great, and the Segways were really fun!

The Segway tour was the highlight of my Italy trip. I am 69 and rode the Segway without a problem. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and took us to place most tourist don't get to. The Segway is so easy to ride and we got to so many places in 3 hours. I can't say enough how wonderful this was. I would do it again anywhere. What a fabulous experience.

We had more fun on this tour than any tour that we have ever taken. Our guide was funny and informative, and we were able to see areas of Rome that we would never have been able to tour by foot. The Segways are a blast.

Loved it! So much fun. A little scary to learn at first but then you get going and you want to spend the money to buy one. Watch out if you're on a hill and near parked cars...try to get through quickly. Got a little tough towards the end because you move through a sea of people near the Colosseum and they're all taking pictures of you and unwilling to get out of your way. Traffic is horrible there, and they don't give you the right of way either. But it was a great way to see Rome the day after we saw the insides of the Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill.

Words won't do enough justice to how much fun and must do activity this is. This is the best way to see parts of Rome where you may not imagine yourself walking. Extensive research won't be enough to make you visit all places we covered with so much fun and without getting tired. The guide was super cool and we were conquering Rome for three and half hours, and I can heartily say we really conquered it. All highlights of the city were covered. Our guide took us to spots from where we could see the ruins and then he would open his book and show us with the same angle the way Rome would have looked from that spot. It took our breath away. Rome Segway is a must-do.

This is the best way to see Rome. We did a bus tour too, but the Segway was far better. Great guides, Segways were easy to use, and lots of history. This was so much fun and we covered a lot of ground in just a few hours. You could never see this much on foot. It really helped us decide what we wanted to go back and see more of later. Would recommend this to everyone! Thanks.

This is an absolute must do for anyone visiting Rome. The trip is not only great fun, but allows you to explore Rome in ways not possible by foot or bus. Our tour guide was excellent, showing us features of buildings and ruins along the route that you would never notice without a guide. We even had a race around the Circus Maximus on the Segways - maybe not quite as authentic as horseback but still very good fun!

We went to Rome and took the Segway tour. We loved the tour but we almost missed it because we could not find it. We asked many people for directions, but finally only a police man could assist us. I suggest you put more information on the website about how to find the Segway tour. It was not “obviously located” as it says on the website and our confirmation information. The rental site was a storefront on a side street several blocks from the coliseum. The directions make it seem like it is right next to the arch. Finding the tour was the only problem. Our trip was so enjoyable that we wanted to share some positive feedback. We spent 6 days in Rome and by far the best thing we did was the Segway tour. Our guide, Marco, was amazingly well informed and he had a love for Rome that was contagious! The Segway tour showed us a view of Rome that put everything in perspective.
