Absolutely LOVED JOSEPH and CATALINA our tour guides!! They are so passionate about the history and their jobs. You really feel it in this tour. Yes there is a lot to see and lots of walking but overall it was a great tour to recommend to everyone going to Rome!!
Tour guide was excellent for the Colosseum! Enjoyed every minute. The headset is a great way to hear and not have to be very close. Afternoon tour was great as well, both very informative.
Just wonderfull, both tours, specially the morning one and most specially Chiara, the tour guide, an appasionate, full of culture and simpathy young lady. Very highly recommended tour!!!
Great tour, all the best of ancient Rome, and some stuff you may think is ancient, but is only less then 200 years old.
Marquite, I can't remember her exact name but she was EXCELLENT! She had a vibrant and happy personality and made us laugh and enjoy ourselves. She greeted each of us individually and always made sure she had everyone's attention. She gave us interesting facts and pointed out places inside that we would have not otherwise known their significance. She made sure when we took breaks, it was beneath trees and had ample time to refill our water bottles. This tour involved a lot of walking, so not best for those who are weak or are heat intolerant. Otherwise it was a blast, just be prepared to come home dusty and exhausted but very happy. I will do this tour again when I return with my friends.

I loved this tour! Our guide Dora was awesome! She was super nice and definitely knew her stuff! I had her for both parts of the tour and I would recommend this if you have a short time where you want to see most of the city.
Excelente.
best value tour we did, its a full days touring and you get your moneys worth of history and more. Serianna was informative, helpful and kept the attention throughout the Colosseum tour in the morning.
the palentine hill and forum are must see, see where it all happened in Imperial Rome!!
the afternoon tour with the spanish steps, trevi fountain and pantheon as the highlights is excellent also!.
i would note that lots of sunblock, water, energy snacks and good footwear are advisable- a certain level of fitness is advised otherwise you are gotta start wilting toward the end
recommend recommend recommend!!
Fantastic tour with a unbelievable guide She had a PhD in archaeology! Highly recommended.
A lot of walking, but worth it! Our guides were very knowledgeable and it seemed as though they knew stories about every building afternoon and every bit of antiquity. Just enough time to have lunch between the tours, and there are some nice places to eat outdoors near the Spanish Steps - catch a cab from the Colosseum area.
Our guides were excellent! Sarah, who led us through the Colosseum, forum and Palatine hill had a Ph.D. In archeology and was very animated as she shared all the information and back stories. Our afternoon guide walked us through numerous piazzas and to the Trevi fountain, all the while sharing information about modern Rome and Romans as well as the history of what we were seeing.
Fantastic tour and a great value!
Claudia was interesting and helpful. She spoke English very will and was easy to understand
This is a must do for Rome first timers! There are so many historical sites in the city that this becomes a convenient way to narrow it down to the key ones. Vasco and the Canadian girl were good! Although as a combo tour it could get exhausting. Too bad the Spanish Steps and Pantheon were closed
This is another long day of walking and mingling with the crowds. Our guide at the Colosseum was very knowledgeable and perhaps the nicest Roman in Rome. I would book a tour with him anytime. While this is a must see tour while you are in Rome be prepared for crowds around this popular site. The afternoon walk through Ancient Rome was perfect. If possible, plan on having dinner, coffee and a glass of wine then reverse the course on your own back to the Trevi Fountain for the evening lights.

Excellent tour. Highly recommended. Tour guide was very informative, interesting and friendly. Learned a lot more that if we had toured the sites by ourselves. Skip the lines are a must. Saved potentially hours of waiting in lines.
A very enjoyable day with the two guides Sarah and Alba. Both passionate about Rome and its treasures!
The tour was very well done and Gianni of City Tours was wonderful. She made the tour come alive with very interesting history and background information.
One of the best tours booked via Viator. Amazing tour guide. Well worth the price!

This Tour was excellent. Intially I was concerned it could be too long a day however that proved not to be the case. You got a good 2 hours in between each Tour so you can relax enjoy lunch and a drink before embarking on a second tour. Also because there is not a lot of walking in the Coloseum tour you have energy for the second afternoon. The pleasant and expert knowledge of the 2 Tour Guides - Julia for the Colosseum and Sara for the Rome Afternoon Walking Tour added immensely to the experience. They both seemed genuinely interested in the subject matter of the Tours and definitely had a deep knowledge of the subject matter they were talking about. They both should be commended.
What an amazing day! Both guides were excellent! However be adequately prepared for a lot of walking. My daughters pedometer calculated we had effectively covered 10 miles that dayincluding walking from our apartment to the Colosseum, about 2 miles. Heed the advice, wear good, supportive shoes, regardless of the weather! My head is still buzzing from all the information we were given. Our guide for Ancient Rome, had a PhD in Archaeology...he certainly knew his stuff...but put it over in a way that was easy to understand!
