We had two tour guides; Irene in the morning and Nina in the afternoon they were both amazing, gave us lots of information and were interested and passionate about what they were doing. They made the day special for us and we had a fantastic time. Definitely be recommending this tour to others.
it was a awesome tour, our tour guide david(e) was a superb tour guide
My only feedback is that if you are in Rome for a longer period of time, do these on 2 seperate days. If you are there for a short time, this combo was amazing!
I really enjoyed this tour. You get plenty of time to look at each of the attractions, and the guide was very friendly. If you do not enjoy learning about the history and just want to look at each monument then move on, then this is not for you because the guide takes her time explaining every attraction in deep detail.
This was very informative, the guides were very knowledgeable and spoke really good English. The pace was just perfect especially in the heat. I would recommend this trip
This turns out to be a long day. I would recommend not taking this tour in August. TOO HOT!! Otherwise, it was great. One of the best parts is skipping the long lines! And if you don't plan ahead, you will be standing in line at least an hour, if not longer to get in the colosseum. Lots of walking! Bring your water bottles. All the information given is unbelievable. If you don't have lots of time to spend in Rome, this is a great tour. Be aware, where the first part ends is not the same place the second part begins. You have to make you way to the second part of the tour on your own, at you expense. It is walkable, but you don't feel like walking it after touring the Colosseum. The second part of the tour is at a slower pace and hits all the highlights of the city. Barbara (Colosseum) and Natasha (Best of Rome) were exceptional tour guides.
The Colosseum was amazing and the Best of Rome Afternoon Walking Tour we really, really enjoyed. Adriana was our tour guide and she was very , very informative and even offered to take pictures of our family whenever we asked. She truly loves Rome and all it has to offer!
5 stars great tour. Educated tour guide stunning architecture and history.
tour guide very knowledgeable about history of rome; small group; Very informative; higly recommended
It was hotter than hot in Rome the day we took this tour, but I would do it again given the chance. We saw so many of the places and sites I have dreamed of seeing for years. The tour guides know so much information and are excited about sharing the history and significance of the historic sites. I could never have packed so much into a day in Rome as we enjoyed on this tour.
The morning tour was brilliant and very informative. The tour guide was great and kept our interest despite the heat (37c)!. Highly recommend
Ecellent tour with a first class and highly knowledgable guide
Wear comfy shoes! Rome is amazing and you don’t want to waist a second of it worried about your toes having a heart beats of their own! We walked about 10 miles excited to see as much as possible. You could spend a month there and not get bored. We took this tour the day after we arrived and it was just perfect since it also includes the city tour late afternoon. The history of the street you walk on, the vibe, the language, the coffee (oh… how we miss the coffee) is all just perfect. Always be aware of your surroundings and pick pockets and try to come out from behind the camera lens. Anywhere you look there is a story. Your history books come to life. My eyes water at the fact I was lucky enough to enjoy a vacation like this.
