An amazing day. You get to see everything. It can be quite tiring and there is little time for rest so I recommend you bring a bottle of water.

Excellent day out with the girls (Francesca and Rosa) from Dark Rome Tours. Their friendliness and subject knowledge was second to none and they made both tours an extremely enjoyable experience. I would thoroughly recommend these tours if you are visiting Rome.

The colosseum tour was outstanding. Our guide was very knowledgeable. A lot of walking but the subject material kept you occupied the entire time

Visiting the Colosseum and Forum is an obvious must for any trip to Rome and this tour certainly did justice to it. Our guide (who it transpires trained as an archeologist.) was excellent and provided a wealth of information. The afternon tour was likewise good value, and in addition to taking in a number of the major sights (e.g. the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Iazza Navone etc.), simply being guided through some of the lesser streets gave helped to provde a good "feel" for this amazing city.

2x Fantastic Tours. Colosseum tour was brilliant and extremely impressed with the local tour company as the metro lines were closed the day of our tour due to a strike and so we were going to be v. late. Called tour company and they easily re-arranged for the following day for us.
Walking tour around Rome was amazing. Brilliant value for money and a great way to see the most famous sites!!
Both tuor guides knew their stuff, and were extremely friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend both/either trip!

Both tours were excellent and our guides Claudia and Francesca were very knowledgeable and mad the tours fun as well as interesting.

The morning tour was very good. Our guide was knowledgeable and good fun and was able to guide our small party of 12 through the masses of other tourists without any difficulty. An excellent morning tour despite poor weather.
The afternoon tour suffered because of the poor wet weather and because it did not start until 3.30 pm. This meant that it did not finish until 6.30 pm in the dark and we were all tired by then. The tour guide (different from the morning) was good. The final destination to view the rivers fountain in Pizza Navarone could easily have been omitted from the tour without loss.

Great guides, very sweet, knowledgable and funny. Totally gave a great overview of the colosseum, forum, and the heart of Rome. Even the rain could not dampen our tour, as we were able to expereince the Pantheon at its best. The only downside was that the guide ended the tour at a different location from what we were told to expect. It was dark already, and in a part of town that we were totally unfamiliar with, not near a Metro stop. The guide had well memorized the information for the tour in English, but was not able to give us directions to get back to our starting place or a Metro. Thank goodness we had a good map of the city. Once we figured out on our own where we were, we were able to walk about 30 minutes to a Metro station and get back to our hotel for a late dinner.
