Our guides, Alexander and Jack were superb. This tour was the highlight of our 3 day trip to Rome. Both guides were knowledgable, customised the tour to what we were interested in and took us to sights we would never have considered. Zooming around on the back of Vespas in Rome traffic was at the same time frightening and exhilarating. Another benefit: Rome was very hot 30 degrees, and scootering around was a lot cooler than being on a walking tour. And with personal guides, a lot more efficient and fun. I highly recommend you book this tour first, and ask for Alexander and Jack and remember to ask them to take you to Rome's best cappuccino!. - Tamzin
Perfetto! We loved this tour of Rome's hills and highlights. Our guides Daniel and Luigi were friendly and knowledgable. Un
pomeriggio perfetto a Roma!
It was brilliant. Paolo was the tourguide. And since i had seen lots of rome he took me to other places. Seriously, when in Rome; rent a scooter and book this tour. It's a must!!!!
Alexander was a wonderful guide. I left Rome feeling like I understood so much more because of his observations.
This is a GREAT way to see a lot of Rome in a short time, and have fun doing it. With great guides (Carlos, Luigi, Daniel, one a guide, one an architect, one just a nice guy) whizzing you around the city, it was as much fun to ride as it was interesting to see. Our 13 year old was shooting video from his phone, jumping off the bike at each stop, and it turned what is an admittedly challenging day for a teenager into a rush of fun.
This is by far the best way to see Rome! Giorgio and Leonardo were excellent guides and we had a wonderful morning exploring Rome with them. Definitely one of the top highlights of our trip.
This was so much fun! Skip the big tour groups and see Rome by Vespa with your own guide. I felt like I had a friend in Rome showing me around for the day in an informative but informal way. Would highly recommend!
This was the highlight of our trip to Rome. I recommend this to everyone to try at least once. Our guide showed us the entire city. We made stops all over the city to see the sights and take pictures. We even stopped along the way for coffee. Alexander, Luigi and Leonardo (our guides) meet us at the hotel and made sure that we were safe and had lots of fun. This tour was money well spent.
This tour was so much fun! I would do it again! I was very lucky to have a wonderful tour guide in Jacopo, who was knowledgeable, personable and professional. I was able to see so much of Rome, and so much that hasn’t been included on any other tour that I have done in Rome. The experience was enriched by the knowledge that Jacopo shared. I loved the experience and highly recommend the tour :)
Alessandra and Simone were our guides and they were amazing! Even though we had already seen quite a bit of Rome, it was still awesome to see it again from the back of a scooter. They also took us to lots of places on our wish list that we hadn't seen yet. One of us had never been on a scooter before and was a little apprehensive, but she felt very safe in their hands and was smiling the whole time. In my opinion it was the best part of our weeklong stay in Rome.
I really enjoyed this tour! This was my 4th time to Rome already, and definitely my favourite way of exploring the city. Our guides were very nice, and took us to great spots that were pretty authentic and a bit more off the beaten track. We also had a really nice gelato. Definitely recommend it!
My sister and I had an INCREDIBLE experience with this tour. Our tour guides were wonderful and really took us to areas we wouldn't have been able to access through traditional touring methods. 'When in Rome do as the Romans do'- what's more roman than touring this incredible city on a vespa?? (it also helps to alleviate some of the traffic situations) :)
On an October trip to Italy with three friends, we had one day to spend in Rome. The Rome Vespa tour was AWESOME. Our guides were GREAT. One day in Rome is not sufficient, but we got a great taste of it that day. We are just home a couple weeks and talk about that day all the time. It was the highlight of our Italy trip. It is money very well spent. You will see things not everyone gets a chance to see. I would do it again in a heartbeat. We were introducted to Suppli al telefono this day-YUMMY. I found a recipe and made them when got home. They were almost as good! But since we were not eating them with our tour guides, it wasn't the same.
It was a great way to see more of Rome in a short period of time. We had excellent tour guides which were very knowledgeable and the Vespas allowed us to view the true beauty of Rome. We saw many sites we would have otherwise missed in typical tours or on our own.
Worth six stars. Our guides were amazing and the whole experience was one of the highlights of our entire month away. Cannot recommend highly enough.
AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THEN SOME. NO ONE should miss this tour!!!! There are truly NO words that can adequately express how OUTSTANDING this tour was. It was obvious our tour guides, natives of Rome were in love with their city and through their eyes and the places they showed us my daughter and I feel in love with Rome as well. This was my daughter's 4th trip to Rome and because this tour took her to places in the city she never saw before and because of the insight given by the tour guides she told me, it was like she was seeing Rome for the first time and feel in love . We can't wait to go back. THANK YOU, THANK YOU , THANK YOU.
It was wonderful!! Knowledgeable and very pleasant guide. Took us to all the places we had not yet seen.
Massimilians was a great driver and guide. Even though he doesn't speak much English, he used his iPad translator to try explain to me as much as possible on the places we visited. Tour ended early coz many places were closed. Massimilians made it up by bringing me to places not on the itinerary.
It was awesome; highly recommend and would do it again; Valerio was a wealth of knowledge so it was a great history lesson form an expert as well as a great experience of feeling like a local on the vespa touring around the city and the seven hills. We did this on the list day of our stay in Italy and it was a highlight and a great way to end the visit.

So you think you've seen all there is to see in Rome? I thought so too until I went on this tour. My guide Alexander was amazing and so full of the local knowledge and places to see that I hadn't read about in any tour book. This was completely safe and so much fun. A great way to see Rome like you've never seen it before.
