The tour was very nice. Unfortunately it was raining so we spent a lot of time in the bus. The dinner was great and the sites we did see while walking were wonderful.
Dinner was good, viewing the Trevi fountain at night was outstanding, we had been there during the day, but at night was great. Then everything went downhill from there, we drove by the Colosseum , then we drove by the Vatican, and then went to the heart of Rome's night life. We walked around for about I hour watching all the young people talk, drink, and dance in the street. Back on the bus to be drop off at our hotel, wrong, we had to walk about 10 blocks at 11PM. not aq very nice trip,
Good tour, guide well informed and Rome at night is a must. The dinner was very good with excellent service and the traditional family restaurant was so enjoyable. Recommended
This tour was the day of arrival in Rome and did serve to help get us oriented to what was where for the next two day. The tour was limited to where the bus could go and that meant walking and trying to keep the group together. The guide seemed to just turn us a loose for a while and not explain much. The meal was not what I had imagined and I felt like I was just pushed into a restaurant and plates set in front of me. The atmosphere of the restaurant was not there, the group was in a small room and again the guide disappeared up it was time to leave. I would not do it again, but it was a start to the vacation.
We should get a refund for this tour. Diner was supposed to be in Trastevere and we went to the Trevi Fountain area. Tour guide was from Brazil. She was nice but her Spanish was a mix of Italian and Portuguese although it was supposed to be in English. Not very well organized tour.
Roseanna was a great guide with so many interesting details and spoke very clear English. We have seen a lot of Rome before, but never at night like we did on this tour. It was well worth it.
Nice easy tour. Nice pace. Comfortable transportation. Great food.
Generally enjoyable, tour guide Angela was extremely passionate about Rome. Dinner was good but we aren't used to dining so late. My daughter and I ended up taking a cab back to our hotel rather than waiting for the bus to drop everyone off, still didn't get in until midnight.
Tour was a great disappointment. We had a multicultural group which necessitated the guide to narrate in 3 different languages which was annoying because by the time she had finished her narration we had passed the highlight and her description of the highlight was necessarily shorter. The food was underwhelming and not good value for money
Didn't enjoy the bus tour as we could not see anything, and the dinner was far too late (midnight), and the company running it were not very helpful.
Tour guide was very nice and spoke English very well. The sites we saw were very good and the dinner was very good, would recommend this as a way to see Rome from a different angle.
Nice tour. Dinner was okay. The restaurant was in a very "popular" area and we spent quite a bit of time getting through the crowds. Walking at night was difficult too.
I would not recommend this tour for the following reasons.
The wording said pick up and drop off at hotel this was not the case we had to make our own way to the office.
The couch tour ended up with a lot of walking, and as regards the dinning it was mediocre and didn't start until gone 10.30 at night, not a time for eating
All round a big dissapointment
