For us this was the best way to get to know Rome. At our own pace. We had the guide for one day, but we would recommend to take two or more.

I felt cheated a bit. Since you did not need the hearing aid, you could listen to it loud, one would have been good enough for me & my husband instead of getting 2 of them. I thought the sites would have been more descriptive. I had most of the information that you gave from the internet.

Did not find the mp3 tour too helpful. The movie was OK but you can buy ticket directly from the cinema at a cheaper price. The staffs working their are really bad. So do not recommend this package.

We went to the pickup place and there were no guides there for us as it was just an agency for the actual company. They told us to wait for a half hour, which turned into an hour for someone to bring them over. The guide itself is ok, in some places like the Roman Forum the directions were not clear as you move through. It says things like walk down 'XYZ' street and there are no signs in the Forum, and they are not on the map either, so a little hard.
