This tour was, by far, the highlight of our trip to Rome. After seeing the very long lines waiting to get into the Collosseum, we were so thankful that we were on a guided tour and could just walk right through the gates. Out tour guide was precious and possessed a wealth of knowledge, which she readily shared with us. Unless you enjoy wasting many hours in line, I highly recommend that you sign up for this tour. You won't regret it!

This was amazing. The tour was on time and the tour guide was very helpful, the meeting place was very easy to find.Be prepared for a lot of walking, make sure you wear comfortable shoes. This tour is a must on your visit to Rome. Enjoy!
This massive structure is just spectacular! Our guide was really good about pointing out little details. We did mid afternoon tour but I'd heard the evening tour is even better. We just loved it!
Excellent tour. Sabrina was a great tour guide. It was fantastic to be able to stand on the Colosseum floor, go underground and also visit the very top. Lovely views from above. We joined another group led by Maxim, I believe. I can't quite remember his name. But he was very informative. My husband and I really enjoyed this tour.

Excellent tour! Our guide Claudia was an archaeologist with a passion for her work. She gave an excellent history, background and trivia about the place. It was the highlight of my trip! Highly highly recommend.

The guide (Niccole) was excellent. His knowledge and passion added to the remarkable history of these sites. The 3 1/2 hours was time well spent. Access to the archeological underground of the Colosseum was a great experience. The observations and explanations provided at the Palatine Hill area were brilliant. Highly recommended.

This tour is a MUST!!! You can not believe the lines to get into the Colosseum........we would not have gotten in by evening if we had not booked this tour. We went around all the lines and had access to areas that the general public can not go. Our guide was an archeologist (Simone) and he was so knowledgeable..........he had actually done some of the digging in the ruins that we saw. We only had 10 people in the tour so it was very easy to see everything and hear the guide. I would recommend any of the Dark Rome tours - excellent!!
Brilliant! We were so impressed with our guide's archeological background and her enthusiasm for her work. She made us feel we were entrenched in the history and culture of ancient times
