This was a great tour. The guide was knowledgeable, and we had an amazing time touring the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Bypassing the long lines was a definite plus. It was an exceptional way to start our first full day in Rome.

The tour was fantastic! The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable of Roman history. We booked three Rome tours with Viator, and all three were great...no disappointments. The ease of booking the tour and the professional tour guides really made our experience great.

This was truely excellent in every sense of the word. Our guide deserves every word of praise! Her enthusiasm for her own local Roman history as a Roman was unbeatable, and this she conveyed to her group.

This tour is worth it if only to skip the huge line for the Colosseum. We learnt so much more than we would have from wandering around by ourselves. Our guide was approachable, very knowledgable and had a lot of great stories of the old Emperoros. Perhaps the tour of the Royal Palace could have been a little shorter, although the heat may have affected my judgement.

This was a great tour, and the tour guide made it fun by make people in the tour into part of his story by making one person emperor and other people other characters from the times when the Colosseum was built. Bring your water bottles if it's hot. There are fountains throughout Rome that will let you fill your bottle up, which was much needed for us on a dreadfully hot day. I was amazed by how tremendously big the buildings must've been, and wondered how they could do it without modern technology and equipment. It still amazes me.

Very knowledgeable guide, passionate about her subject. The Forum part of the tour was more uphill walking than I thought it would be, but it was worth the trip.
